Sehlanna kneels beside him, holding hand a moment in kinship. Her teeth clench and grind back, wincing tears away at the news. Long breath out, she tilts back her chin and regains a noble bearing. An arm slides around his shoulders, there for him if he accepts it. She refuses to let the weight of that night be borne alone.

That whole night, she stays there for him. Holding, listening, encouraging - no more tears of her own.

As the day approaches this Young “man “approaches a member of the circle and ask for directions to a guide of the Elder circle, he is ask why and his response is that he wish to be initiated to join the Elder Circle and as he mention neither a Druid nor a Ranger his intentions are clear to help people be it in sickness or in battle, for he usually presents himself as a Healer an Adventurer, and for now I will wait for someone to instruct me if this is possible

///ooc i mention "a member" because i don't know whose available or not so if anyone could help me out

As he quietly warms himself up from the warmth of the campfire not far from the Friendly Arms, Lambe notices a young man approach him. Surprised by the inquiry of the man about the Circle, the ranger tells the stranger to follow him into the woods...

Lambe, Catam and Vendor Xon moved to the woods and fields near the Chiontar River next to the village of Ulgoth's Beard. After scouting the area the three rangers of the Elder Circle found a good place for to set up their camp. As Vendor got tired from the long journey and the fight with the big worm by the rivercrossing north of the Gatebridge, he retired to his tent for some restful sleep.....

///I didn't take any screenshot...I hope Lambe took some :) Thanks all for fun. And hopefully I will see you soon at the camp. Everyone is welcome.

The day was filled with a sense of calm and camaraderie as rangers of the Elder Circle began the first of a series of campouts throughout the Coast. Making their way around the roads up across the Chiontar.

It was there that they encountered a creature that was quite out of place to the lands.

Image

It came out of the river as the rangers had just finished crossing. Perhaps seeing them as prey, it lunged at them. And so it was that Vendor, Catam and Lambe decided that it did not belong and must be killed lest it consumes whatever thrives in the river...

It took a few more days for them to make it to their destination, the woods south of Ulgoth's Beard. There they scouted for a good spot and began to set up camp. For the next few days they will call it home.

In various inns around the Swordcoast there can be seen flyers made out of leaves with the following text written on it:

"Hello rangers and followers of nature,

if you are new to the area or you are looking for like-minded people in this region, I will offer you my help. Leave a note for "Vendor Xon" at the Friendly Arm Inn. You also can meet me and other followers of nature every seventh day at the Meeting of Nature's Faithful near the Shrine of Mielikki. I look forward to meet with you. I can show you around or teach you about land and nature.

Vendor Xon Forester of the Gate."

///The Meeting of Nature's Faithful starts every Friday at 10 pm gmt. If you are interested please send me a ic pm, come and visit the meeting or post either here or in the "Meeting of Nature's Faithful Deux" thread in the "Elf Song Tavern" section.

(( The events taking place on the text below are not known to anyone outside the circle. More detailed information in the EC private forums ))

As the druids and rangers of the Elder Circle were getting ready for a patrol to the North and Misty Forest, Mendel noticed that Ivan seemed lost in his thoughts. At first Mendel didnt think much about the odd druid's state of mind, but then Ivan informed the group he had a vision. Nai asked Ivan if he had any mushrooms but the druid denied it, at least not for that day. The druid explained that in his vision it was revealed to him that the balance at the Sunset Mountain is upset and that they should investigate.

Ivan, Catam, Lambe, Berea, Nai and Mendel gathered their supplies and tree strode as close to the Sunset Mountains as they could. Once there and while ascenting to the peak, they noticed something strange - Giants and Fire Salamanders were fighting each other. Taking advantage of the situation the group moved hastily towards the peak, destroying anything that came upon their path. Once there, they group came upon an apocalyptic scene - Giants, Salamanders, Efreeti, Fire elementals and an enormous Black Dragon were fighting each other.

With not much information to go with, the group attacked the Black Dragon and made it to fly away. On the field there was but one mortaly injured survivor - an Efreeti. Its last dying words were that there is a pact formed which will upset the balance unless something is done about it. As the efreeti was dying he pointed towards a portal urging the group to go through and find his city where they can learn more. Once the efreeti had his last breath, the group went through the portal clearly concerned about what is going on.

Once on the other side of the portal they searched and searched for the city, sporadicaly fighting any groups of Salamanders they came up with. Then they all saw it for afar, the gate of the city of Brass, the efreeti told them about. When the got inside the adventurers were greeted by more efreetis and after the heard what went on the group was lead to their leader. Their leader gave more information asking them to help restore the balance. A ancient relic was given which currently is in Mendel's possesion

Lambe and Ven scouted the Sunset Mountains in the east and especially watched out for any damage that was done to the land by the battles between the Efreeti and the Fire Giants.

*A note left at the shrine of Mielikki south of the Friendly Arm*

Lambe or Ven,

I regret that I am unable to be at the shrine for Nature's Faithful meeting, but wish to meet with you at your convenience to discuss what service I can offer. I will stop by this shrine often in the hopes of meeting with you further.

A note is left at the shrine:

"Hello Cranston,

I will seek you out as soon as possible. There are things to discuss and questions to be answered. Maybe you can join us on one of our patrols as well.

The man throws in the last of of the deadwood into the fire as he gets ready to range. Like on many other scouting task he's done in the past, he wonders -not for the last time that evening- what he'll find. Keeping watch on the High Moor has been of some priority recently. But then he's always enjoyed having time alone like this. Time to just watch, listen, and often ponder on many different things.

*A note is left at the shrine to Mielikki*

Ven,

I will try to make it to the weekly meeting, but am unsure if I will be able to. I wanted to let you know that I came upon a very large sword spider just south of the Arm today, while conversing with a Druidess by the name of Rose. The spider seemed to be sizing us up, deciding if we might make a nice meal, but after Rose and I made calming gestures it eventually wandered off. I sent my companion, Shadow to scout the area, but he returned after finding only normal spider activity in the area. I am concerned that if there are more of these giant sword spiders in the area they could upset the natural food chain within the area. In the coming weeks, I will make sure to patrol the area south of the Arm regularly to determine if there is a nest and, if so I will make the attempt to locate it and report back here at the shrine.

Shaundakul grant you safe travels and Shevarash guide your bow,

Cranston

Displacer wrote:En elven ranger, dressed in a beautifully adorned mithral breast plate, a long flowing emerald cloak streaming behind him and a large boar at his side, is seen striding briskly for the Friendly Arm Inn from the cloak wood forest. When drawing near, there can be seen two gagged and tied figures. The first figure, a gnome carried by the elf, and the other an unbearded dwarf carried across the back of the boar are then thrown down rudely in front of the Inn. The elf take a bird feather quill and pens a note in elvish.

"These creatures were seen to be selling license to hunt the unnatural minotaurs of the cave within the Cloakwood. They did so proclaiming the need for gold by a unknown Goddess of the Forest. I found within the contents of there boiling pot, the bones of both spiders and humans, most likely those of the Druids of that Forest. I leave these creatures to your proclaimation of guilt. I pray the Circle whom over sees this forest and their Elders are made to pass judgement upon their actions."

The Elven range is then seen to stride south with the boar high stepping at his side.
