Well first off a thread needs to be going down to be closed. No one is being a jerk on this thread. The voice of reason? Why would you need to be the voice of reason on this?

We have presented the lore out of the the FR book itself. Honestly this is pretty much a solved case.

Exactly why it should be closed. The case was (and I'm being flexible here) 'solved' on the first page. Voice of reason,yeah. No one is really being a jerk but we aren't saying things that make friends anymore.

I didn't argue against Montaron's point precisely because I agree with it. I was already convinced earlier in this thread.

It is not about convincing anyone, not after writing the same post over and over again in countless diffrent threads. What it does is just shows that one has had enough, and whoever is being the target of the 'vocal' outburst is just being stupid about something. Really, Montaron. You first throwing a fit and then deriding people with that "ego-centric teenagers" card doesn't exactly show your own maturity in any favourable light. I still agree with you about the rangers, but you are quite clearly being the biggest child here.

I suppose that I'll leave you to develop for a few years more, I hope your perception regarding other's reactions and motives improves with time.

so let's be all happy pies again - I didn't go through all of the pages on this thread, but since the lore actually for FR supports drow rangers of Lolth, can we get them built into the game and other dieities/races?

That would require... uh...

Editing the .tlk files, and somehow hooking rangers and spirit shamans with the standard deity selection instead of the druidic one.

go click in the file for the ranger column 1= yes and it should fix it right?

Is this happening, or have we decided to stick with the restrictions in place?

Who knows, I asked a similar question last year about rangers in general and got a no response and no further enlightenment why. There should really be a sticky somewhere with dead horse topics as this topic comes up quite often.
