I think he was a drow player, and staff didn't let him grind on the surface. I see no other reason that would make sense.

Also.. we are looking at a more permanent solution.
It's going to take a bit of time though.

Well..... I don't think the FBI would have the staff or the interest to investigate a game that affects only about 50-75 people at any given time, that really poses no risk to the secruity of the US. Considering that, your options are very limited.

You could do old school investigatory work.

Your best bet would be to get internet security people involved from the private sector. I may know someone who could offer suggestions or point you to some people who could help.

You could offer the investigation to a branch of one of the military intelligence cyber units and ask they do it as a training exercise to train their cyber attack experts. Each military service has it's own intelligence branch with probably it's own cyber specialists. I would offer the training exercise to the NSA or the NRO (national reconaissance organization). Army intelligence might be another option.

From what I have heard the FBI is having funding issues right now, and they are probably better for forensic investigations and counter terrorism.

Ultimately the best thing to do is to find the most secure hosting service and change all your passwords.

If you want I can say a rosary for the culprit so that the Blessed Mother can intervene and help the poor lost soul find his way. Of all the options mentioned, she's got the most powerful organization working for her.

Ultimately it's likely he/she has some disagreement with server staff and it's petty grudge-baring. I was part of a community on another game where every few months a man who held a grudge against the community administration would come around and manage to bring that server down for weeks at a time.

What I mean is this is nothing, I've weathered worse storms. We just have to be patient. =P

Too late I've contacted the BVM to look into it.
