Terri Lalani stopped in to give Corundum a tour of the company lodge and get to know him a bit better. One thing is for certain he is not going anywhere and now calls Phoenix his tribe and has vowed to fight for them for life.

Lately Corundum can be found either outside the company tending to his gear applying oil and polish to his armor or sharpening and applying oil to his axes. When not tending to certain tribal rituals he can be found inside swilling large amounts of ale and devouring large amounts of the salted meat stocks of the company.....often boasting of his great exploits of being a warrior

Corundum enters the Phoenix lodge smelling of undeath and begins to boast loudly of how him and two very lovely and pretty females entering a crypt near the little people village and giving the undead there a lesson in Thunderbeast tactics of destroying their enemies and foul things of the land. He would weave a mighty tale of heroism and how the three of them fought back legions of undead to face not one but three liches the most powerful of them took many swings of his axe to bring down but down it went and victorious were the small band of adventurers in razing the dead. He would then drink and drink telling of his other tales of heroism and how it would not be long on a coast like this for him to make a name for the great Thunderbeast tribe here.

Conclusion of freeing the slaves
Armed with Moral convictions and a large band of hero's Phoenix Company set off on one of the most dangerous missions it had entered in thus far. It was not the lives of themselves at risk here, but those of all the slaves they was about to attempt to free. The mission was simple. Utilize the 86 Mercenaries to lure half the forces out from cover which would allow our group to get to the slaves and free and arm them.
Many fell during that battle and they will forever be remembered. In the end however Phoenix company won the day by utterly destroying the mining camp and freeing the slaves.
Terri 'Xon offered her land as a place to set up a camp and provide food and shelter until the refugee's could find a more permanent residence. She set about accepting donations and raised 30,000 gold where upon she then matched that donation bringing the total up to 60,000. Runners was sent out to purchase tents and additional food supplies for the refugees.
On a sad note "Teacher" then informed the agents that he was being called away. He was confident that we would be able to continue our good works without his mentoring. Terri was seen to cry as her teacher embraced her for one last time before leaving the lodge into the fate of all of the agents.

Early in the morning Terri, Kitty and Ven prepared everything for the celebration in honor of the Flaming Fist. With the help of some Pheonix Company workers and guards all tents were placed around the festival ground in a short time. Soon the first guests arrived at the lodge and enjoyed the provided food, drinks and games. Some of passangers stoped by to watch the festivities before they joined as well. The well known bard Luke Darius cared for the right ambiance and offered a song about honor and war to the slowly growing crowd.
Minstrel Boy
Well, I'll sing to the morning,
And I'll sing through the night,
And I'll sing to the swiftness of our swords!
And I'll pray for the comrades
to stand strong before the fight,
As they all march on so bravely off to war!
Our minds are on our sweethearts,
Our thoughts are with our friends,
In our hearts we feel so empty and alone. . .
And we think about our families,
Shall we ne'er see them again,
And we dream about the day that we'll go home.
For I am not a soldier,
I am just a minstrel boy,
And my duty to this army
is to sing them songs of joy.
To keep their hearts in the battle,
To keep their minds from the fray,
And I'm not afraid to die, today!
I see their spirits lift
As I sing them songs of battles won before!
And I feel their muscles tighten
and I sense their feelings shift,
As they strive on to the struggle that's in store.
Well, the battle rages onward,
The fighting has begun,
And the men they show no mercy and no fear.
Now the darkness it surrounds us
as the clouds pass o'er the sun,
And in my death the minutes pass like years.
And so now my strings are broken,
And my lute is torn in two,
And my honor and my duty
to this army now are through.
There'll be no more songs of laughter,
no more time to sit and play,
And I am afraid to die, today. . .

The audiance applauded and cheered for the performer, who raised the mood. The Flaming Fist guards, officers and veterans celebrated with the many guest and soon the wine stock had too be refilled. Many old an new faces joint together as Terri and Vendor Xon recieved the kind donations. The fund raising event hosted by Phoenix Company to assist with the familys of the fallen from the war of 1352 and the plague of that same year was highly successful. A amount of 200.000 gp were raised. The banished pair handed the gold to Adelaide van de Saer, Paladin of Sune and asked her to deliver it to Duke Eltan and the Flaming Fist.
//Thanks to everyone who joined us and to the DM's that supported this event. A special thank to Luke for the great performance.

You are awesome people.

As the laboratory - along with the rest of the basement - of the Phoenix Company lodge is finished only days after Maddy Thunderkeg set out for Athkatla, it would not be long until Sirion began to spend time in the laboratory, first once then twice and in time toiling away in the basement with increasing frequency.

A poster is hung up by the entrance outside the Phoenix Company lodge.
Adventurer's Night
11th of The Time of Flowers, Year of the Arch, 1353 by Dale Reckoning
(( Sunday 2017-06-11 at 9pm GMT ))
Adventurers are invited to the lodge for an informal entirely unplanned night of whatever doses of conversation, drink, song and shared tales of past adventuring exploits might appeal to the crowd at the time.
If by the end of the night we have drunk enough to deem it a success then perhaps it will be a recurring event.
Ideas, proposals, suggestions, orders, demands and questions may be directed to Sirion. If he is not in leave a message.

For half a tenday Sirion would spend a few hours in the laboratory daily. Should anyone else spend time there or ask him on the way, they would find out it was not the usual brewing or experimenting that took up his time. No further information would, however, be immediately forthcoming.

Sirion could recently be seen adding to a menagerie that first began as a grass snake, then came a small spider, a frog and a cockroach, all kept in his room in the agents' quarters for the time being. Should anyone inquire about his reasons he would hesitate for a moment before replying with a simple "Experiments. I am also looking for a dog and a wolf, if you chance upon any strays."
