My sneak has only had one incident I thought was weird (82ish Hide/MS). I was hiding behind a rock spying on someone (who OOC knew I was nearby), when a level 12ish person called me out. To this day, I still don't know what exactly happened, but I suppose it could have been that weird bug you mentioned.

Thats strange, I thought sneaks dont get to roll !? Oh, wait, that's right, they do. Weird how relentless campaigning gets people convinced false information is rock solid truth, huh?

I'm not saying its true or not, I was just commenting on how someone half my level with little to no detection skills managed to spot me. It wasn't long after that I heard about the "rolling over" from 99. It also hasn't happened since either, so its strange.
