The PPSH was a derivative of the ppd-40 which was a direct ripoff of the suomi kp-31 which was a Finnish design. The Finnish were a quasi axis power and Germany had access to them. The pistol in the other soldiers hand could be one of the lower caliber m1911 copies they produced. Might even be a kongsberg colt.Aspect of Sorrow wrote:Germans with a Russian PPSH?
