He is given the same response he was given previously. "Make it thirty an' we have ourselves a delicious startin' bid."

He considers her suggestion for a moment before responding.

"I was thinking more along the lines of 10, because of the small market to sell it. I will meet ye half way at 12 bags and 500 pieces."

He smiles and waits for her to consider his offer.

The man says deal...30 bags it is

Shea happens to stumble upon Maras auction by accident.
After a few moments her eyes are caught by the long, almost twohanded blade.

"What's the current bid? Twentyfive?
Make that thirty. Name's Shea."

Mara offers a grin over the top of her bottle, gesturing with tattooed fingers to the dwarf. "Ye know what... I like ye. Always enjoy a good haggle an' ye make a good point. Twelve an' a half bags sounds fair." Reaching across the table's surface, the half-elf reclaimed the ledger she had written in previously and scribbled down the bid amount. A nod was given then to the dark-robed man interested in the ring, as his bid, too, was recorded. To them both, she stated:

"Come back tomorrow, an' if no one else has upped the offer... it's all yers."

Shea's arrival increased the woman's smirk to greedy, cheshire grin and she barked several husky notes of mirth in delight. "Ohoho..." came dramatic announcement. "You've Dunn it now." Preening for her own pun, Mara scribbled down the woman's bid. "You got it, lass. Same deal, give it a bit t'see if there's a counterbid, otherwise th'blade is yours on th'morrow."

The tall, fair-skinned human male makes a counterbid, "For an interesting ring with such a fine story? I shall bid 31, as it were. Good gold too, very pure."

A Dwarf walks over and places two bags on the table.
Thats a mighty fine axe you have there. Care to make a deal on it?










((20K - Dwarven waraxe))

Upon Seeing the other dwarf bid for the axe, he immediately chimes up with

"If ye want the axe, it will take more than that. I need a new axe. 23,000 Pieces."

He grins at the other dwarf.

Mara uttered a laugh as she glanced between the two dwarf, smile etched wide at the back and forth. As the newer bids would roll in, she faithfully updated the ledger until one would inevitably draw ahead.

The tall, fair-skinned human whom was interested in the ring is awarded an apologetic smile - only after an amused sneer for the increased bid of single bag. "Don't rattle th'coffers too hard there, darlin'...." she teased from behind cheshire grin. "Unfortunately... that ring yer in'erested in has already walked." A gesture was made to the departing man and his dark robes.

Setting aside the bastard sword for Shea, for which there was no additional bids, she asks the pale man; "Is there anythin' else that catches ye fancy?"

"Thirty five large for the grasscutter."

"Ye sure are... cuttin' it close, darlin'..." the half-elf smirked, jotting down Michael's bid within the final hour of the bidding; resetting the clock with a roll of her eyes. From he, emerald gaze weaved over sandy shores in search of Shea and the possibility of a counter-bid.

As Mara attempts to hand her the sword, Shea pulls out her pouch already and starts counting .... when all of a sudden Michael raises his voice again.

Shea stops and looks to Mara, questioning.

The half-elf lofted both dark brows at Shea's look, lifting her shoulders in a shrug. "I'm greedy, an' he's a no-good scoundrel," she offered by way of explanation, gesturing to the sun's positioning as though it had some bearing on the offer at hand.

"Care t'increase ye bid, lass?"

Shea shrugs and puts away the pouch again.

"No. We had a deal, you decided to place greed before honouring your word. The Merchant Friend would spit on me if I'd continue this negotiation. Good day."
