Re: Daggerspell mage daggers?
Sorry to necro, but can I check if 1d6 Negative Energy Damage is being applied? There is a Spectral Dagger from the Avernus store with this property.

Re: Daggerspell mage daggers?
The damage will be added yes, you won't see it as negative energy but simply as 1d6 added to the damage of your spell.

I still think it is weak couse if you shall build a wizard with daggerspell mage you need to build him a with one rogue lvls there you will think i need more rogue lvls like 3 and then wizard prc and daggerspells mage you need 5 wizard to lock up the daggerspell mage and 7 daggerspell mage that is 13 lvls before you can use feat Arcane Infusion that have a run time on one min and cold down on 5 min and you get 1d6 dmg on both daggers that mean how many cast is that from the daggers before it run out of the Arcane Infusion well it is 10 sec . and if you hit of couse then it do not makea any dmg and time stil run out

Easy to test -- shoot a Ray of Frost and see if it deals more than 5 damage without critting.

SyntheticRose and if you dont hit the time sill passing by you have only a one min before the arcane infuse is goine then you have to wait 5 min for cold down i say we get 1 more min to have some extre time for arcane infuse couse you can miss the hit

Re: Daggerspell mage daggers?
It's a touch attack. If you miss a touch attack by the time you're high enough level for a build to have Daggerspell Mage (which requires levels in some non-low BAB classes), you have a bigger problem than whether or not your 1d6 damage is adding properly.

Re: Daggerspell mage daggers?
a lvl 30 warlock can miss a range touch attack it is the same with daggerspell mage and the archmage that use arcane ray, daggerspell mage have trow daggers so it is range touch attack about if you roll 19 or 20 there you miss there allways a chance for that it is small but it is there
