Per rules my orc did get away and you cant enforce rolls on others and this is nwn2 not PnP.
That would be really poor form of RP if you claim that one cannot enforce rolls on other players.
How then is a combat log full of rolls? Ah rrrigt :) But apparently when you can get away by clicking a transition point all that matters in IC sense is players and not characters reflex? Smells like a fishy explanation to me.
Yea this is nwn2 - on a ROLEPLAYING server.

The point is, if this

1) don't be a (person)
2) have an IC reason for engaging
3) don't transition hop

were the rules, he'd had been stopped by rule 1, rather than being saved by the overly complex ruleset, and maybe number 3 :p

I was 100% a (person) by using the get out of jail free card transit rule but thats not even the worst rule.
Just wait till some one gets cornerd and uses his own rp out as the agressor doesnt dictate the rp out any more.
*Moon walks away any one?*

But rule 3 is more about not taking the same transit back to shake of the people after you.
You know...i run of and transit you all go after me but i take the same transit back that would be a big nono.

amber91:
Where was the RP Out for each of the characters, like Aurora who was first targeted by the opening attack?
For what it is worth in my outdated opinion the initial PVP was clean. What started the fight was a player hoping on the magic cell phone to call for help. IE casting a sending spell is or should be consent to pvp.

the rules state the same.
- Certain actions can indicate hostile intent and a valid consent to PvP. This includes casting spells, drawing weapons, resting, or using stealth mode (such as Hide in Plain Sight) during hostilities; or pickpocketing or performing a suspicious action towards another character.

Not gonna comment on any of the PvP stuff, but transitioning into the Nashkel map from that direction as a wolf shouldn't be an issue, as long as you cancel the polymorph right away as you enter the map, before walking up to the guards. And as far as I could tell, he did revert back to natural shape right away.

I saw no issue, I'm not sitting and letting someone potentially hostile ward up?

If I did someone would be a million gold coins richer right now.

And oh you have 5 people attacking me? I could translate that as you being a (person), but then again they can transition in so why can't I transition out?

Then again he likely just avoided "You're dead, slash and burn you alive orc scum!" So more positive RP comes out of it, as they can continue to hunt him, and he can continue to do what he does.
