Sshamath has a whole school of magic dedicated to study of the Shadow Weave. It just might not be public in our timeline given Shar's strict dogma about it pre-ToT, but the Sharran-worshippers, alongside the school of Elemental Evocation, are vying for their own unique place in the Conclave not too far into the future from now.
