I'm kind of surprised they didn't update the graphics as a part of the EE... I mean, Projekt Red improved the graphics immensely when they used the Aurora engine for the first Witcher game and it has aged far better. You'd think Beamdog could've at least done that level of improvement so many years later.

They may not have the budget and talent for that.

I'm watching a guy who isn't even on their team handling shader work.

Graphics do not make a game. If the only thing you like about games is graphics you are truly missing out on the other aspects such as content and story.

Yes, but an Enhanced Edition, by definition has nothing to do with story. It's great that Beamdog has (apparently?) improved the tools for builders (maybe DM's?) as a part of the EE. However, I do find it odd that, unless they're charging very little for the game that the EE is going to somehow cause a mass exodus of NWN2 back to NWN1. NWN1 has always had more players overall then NWN2 servers. However, I don't see what the EE offers as being worthwhile to move to a new server and a new game with different rules with regard to classes/PRC's.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't really see how EE for NWN1 has changed anything in relation to those who would play 1 vs. 2.

I would not say that necessarily, the EE server i am playing on now while quite different then BGTSCC has proven to be great fun albeit with a bit of a learning curve.

But it does matter. Many people would still be playing nwn1 if it didn't matter. We could all just play Miss it it didn't matter...

That is because too many people these days are addicted to graphics. Most games these days are all super graphics and nothing else. Having grown up with older games which in most cases are better then those coming out today in every possible way other then graphics i beg to differ.
