Jackard may have been seen near the communal fire, conversing with a long-tracker by the name of Tolmar. Details are likely sparse, as the men spoke quietly and briefly, but it seems their meeting was pre-arranged. After some light laughter and jocularity, there was a trade made. A small woven sack, and a good sized stack of troll hides went to Tolmar, and a small wooden box went to man of Rocky Creek Trade Company.
"For the betterment of the realm" was overheard in Orniff's tap room, when the trade was discussed over celebratory drinks.

It is rumored that a army of the dead is camped out on the meadows of Uldoon Trail.
It is also rumored that three Necromancers were confronted outside Greennest seeking passage South. The undead with them turned back though the Necromancers continued South.

Something begins compelling nature to revolt against the intrusive undead presence. Animals seem empowered, and protective of the Greenfields. Thick, tangling vines would erupt if the army were to stray too far into the lush territory and impede their progression. The threat continues to grow around the army, with what appeared to be one clear, simple message:
Get out.
"All is in cycle, deftly and beautifully balanced"
Locals speak of seeing druids patrolling the Greenfields, making sure the undead army was kept back from the Uldoon trail. However, in the southern meadow, a massive undead dragon was spotted; the battle was close, but the creature put down. Soon the patrol was joined by another ranger, and the Radiant Heart. A fierce fight took place with them against the last of an undead army, who had slaughtered a band of traveling civilians, locals, and their guards.
Though grounds were sanctified, and peace restored, one particular name continued to be circulated: Polvich.

A short caravan would be noted rolling up the Uldoon Trail from Nashkel to Greenest. Not the normal transport wagon that regularly ran the route, but a more elaborate affair, flying the flag of the Rocky Creek Trade Company.
Those with contacts and informants in Greenest may receive word that Jackard had recently arrived back in Greenest.

Some bustling has begun in Greenest in preparation for the market set to occur in just a few candlemarks time. A new piece of parchment, unmarred by the rainfall of the past few days, has been posted on the local board, a small symbol of a tree on one corner, and two points of contact written in the margins: Rowan Quinn, and Maelis Warren.

Travel across the Uldoon trail has recently been made a little easier, with a Rocky Creek guardsman (introducing himself as 'Daigon') helping to clear the road for caravans and travelers. When not around Greenest, Daigon can be seen clearing mines and caves to retrieve stolen inventory.

A traveler through Greenest within the last day or two may have found an old parchment blowing in the wind. It appears weather-worn and trodden, as if it slipped from someone's notice and fluttered along the muddied paths for a day or two before being found:
It is not immediate clear whom it may have belonged to.

A cheery but weathered halfling is seen entering the Greenest inn. He orders a simple meal and a Belbuck; when Orniff claims no such drink is available, the halfling exclaims, "Isn't this place run by a halfling queen?!", after which he calms down and orders a simple ale. When finished with the meal, he leaves a note with Orniff and asks, "Can ye help this find its way ta Jackard of the Rocky Creek?".

In the previous tenday an observant watcher within Greenest could possibly note that Rocky Creek had done considerable trade in and near Greenest.
- A horse, laden with goods, led by a friendly halfling was seen unloading a small chest and a pair of crates near a barn used as a temporary warehouse.
- A woodswoman, wearing darker clothing, brought loads of herbs and plant material to trade within Orniff's tavern. A game of 'Greed', a dice game common with Solomon and Jackard, was shared upon one visit.
- A large man with a dark beard brought a sack full of gems to be traded early one morning. After conversation and the facilitation of a few purchases with a local merchant, the man left without the gems.
- Jackard himself led his horse into Greenest late one afternoon, burdened by several large sacks of goods. After a brief conversation near the fire about monstrous spider mandibles, a less-than-excited worker unloaded the horse and stored away the materials.
