Within the past tenday, the Golden Wheel Company stakeholders meet in the Northern Lights Inn conference room in the Amnian town of Nashkel. After prayers by one of the stakeholders to the Golden Lady herself, it is said that the Golden Wheel recapitalized with a new Board of Directors and ownership structure, maintaining otherwise its incorporation in the Amnian domicile of Nashkel. It is also rumored that various business initiatives were voted upon out of the meeting... What decisions were made, only the Directors may know first hand or those that speak with them... Though the names and positions of the new Directors are announced to the public as the standard course of business. The Waukeenar cleric Natalia Fernanda after the Board proceedings could be heard walking about Nashkel speaking of the holy act of profitable enterprise, the words of "Profit" tossed about like coins at Waukeen's Promenade.

Director Natalia puts out a golden missive to the Directors of the Golden Wheel as well as any prospective contractors or employees seeking work. She would also put out job ads in Soubar, Nashkel, and at the Friendly Arm seeking out employees and contractors for Golden Wheel employment.

Natalia would announce a merchant convoy to ride from Nashkel to Baldur's Gate, stopping at the Friendly Arm Inn on the way north. She would also say that other matters of trade and gold would be discussed along the way.

The wheels of commerce turn at the Golden Wheel company. The Directors of the Golden Wheel Company recently have organized numerous trade convoys north and south along the Trade Way as well as actively selling wares in the markets of the Western Heartlands. Hostiles of the barbarian north to commerce tried, but failed, to overcome the flow of the Wheel's golden profits. It is rumored that the Wheel even now plots a business scheme in Nashkel with the metallic taste of gold emanating from its potential. For Gold and Glory! Praise Waukeen!

In recent tenday the business folk of The Golden Wheel company are said to have enterprised into great riches in the mines between Gullykin, Beregost, and Nashkel. They also are said to have met on various topics of business in Northern Man over multiple tenday, electing a new Chair of the Board of the company, Kiroth.

In the current fiscal quarter, the Directors and employees and contractors of the Golden Wheel Company have pursued an extreme thirst for profit throughout Amn and the Western Heartlands. Director Natalia Fernanda speaks of profits flowing like a river of gold to the coffers of the company and prays for endlessly lower labor costs and greater revenues in perpetuity. She prays every day that her investment returns rise and rise and the fortunes of the company end in ever higher riches. It is said she also met with various stakeholders in Northern Amn to keep trade of the company flowing and to defend against the wrath of winter. In the north, it is said she speaks of the Glory of Amn and attempts to civilize what she terms the lowly barbaric and illiterate fisher peoples of this savage and poor region. In the current fiscal quarter of the new accounting year, Director Natalia Fernanda of the Golden Wheel along with Chairman of the Board Kiroth and contractor Afendaria are said to pursue their ferocious appetites for coin. It is rumored that meetings take them into the north of as well as within Amn. It is spoken as well that they attempt to offer financial advisory services to the Rhonmark family in their messy barony succession dispute, but why or how is not publicly as clear... What is perhaps spoken as clear though is that the Golden Wheel Company has a golden eye for profit to begin the fiscal year and its lid never ceases to remain open for business.

Lady Narasida Zakine Albrongardo of Calimshan and Amn has joined the company and may soon enter into a Director role after a due diligence period agreed to with Chair Kiroth.

Hector Galvan, a registered and loyal Amnian arcanist has signed an employment agreement and is said to be eager to Inquisition contract work.

Meetings of commerce are held. Business is attended to. Prayers for profits are answered in coin! Praise Waukeen!

The spokes of the Wheel turn into ever greater riches...

Over the past few tendays, the metallic smell of gold might be said to follow the corporate agents and owners of The Golden Wheel. Gold's alluring odor following wherever the wheel turns in Northern Amn and along The Trade Way. Commerce abounds. Profits are inevitable. Praise Waukeen!

It is said to be a day of great profit and glory in Nashkel as the self-proclaimed triumphantly profitable Golden Wheel Company raises their corporate banner over the Mines of Nashkel. It is said that the company, and specifically its Director Natalia Fernanda of House Fernanda, has been awarded contractual Chief Operator authority over the Nashkel Mines from Mayor Ghastkill of Nashkel as well as the Council of Six of Amn from an open bid auction process for a period of 10 years term.





Upon the formal execution of contract regarding the mines, The Golden Wheel company also regularly announces its current leadership structure and Permanent Contract Employees. Its Temporary Contract Employees are left unstated to the public.

The Golden Wheel it is said now goes about the process of hiring security contractors, construction workers, engineers, resource retailers and wholesalers, and miners to go about securing, developing, and operating the mine promptly. For Profit! For Nashkel! For the Glory of Amn and the Golden Lady!

Always being unhappy with what she has, always wanting more, and always believing it is better to apologize than to ask permission,

Lady Narasida of House Albrongardo, remembering there were Caves nearby those mines, asked herself one simple question:

"What if we dig a tunnel to them and claim these caves are now technically part of the Mines?"

She would promptly lead a strike team of the Golden Wheels prospect Members into them, exploring every nook, emptying every chest and marking spots of interest for further examination.

Kelemvorite priestess Afendaria received news that the Golden Wheel Company had acquired ownership over the Nashkel Mines from Director Natalia Fernanda and that the Director was hoping that a morgue for miners could be established somewhere within the complex in the future. As explained by Natalia, miners often risk death in their dangerous work and having a place to store the deceased makes sense, but moving their bodies and dealing with the remains can cost a lot of Danters. Knowing this and not wanting to lose out on any profit, it was Natalia and her keen business mind that decided to seek out a fellow Amnian to deal with the dead miners in the cheapest way possible. Natalia asked Afendaria to find a place in the mines that would be appropriate to set up a morgue, which Afendaria would then run later as Nashkel Mine's Head Coroner. Being the Amnian woman and Kelemvorite that she was, Afendaria agreed to become the head of the morgue and she set out to scout out an appropriate location for the morgue immediately.



After a brief assessment of the outer limits of the mines, Afendaria decided that she would need a second opinion about where best to set up this morgue and she would likely return on another date soon with other Kelemvorites to determine where it would be best to set up the morgue.

The 9th of Kythorn 1361 would see the diplomat priest Tathra accompany Magrinn, a traveling Golden Dwarf with expertise in masonry and security to overview the reconstruction efforts for the Golden Wheel's newly acquired mines. Magrinn, having been given the role of chief engineer for the reconstruction efforts by the Director Natalia Ferranda, as well as a shared responsibility in regards with the security detail, was given a tour of the facilities by Tathra so that he may take note of the work ahead of him.



The first order of business was to overview the hill above the mines as a potential location for the re-construction camp. While there, some security concerns were raised in regards with the geographic layout of the mine's surroundings, and of the potential need for minor alterations to the existing fortifications. Potential dangers in regards with external assaults by brigands and the giant population of the Cloud Hills were discussed, as well as security concerns for potential saboteurs of rivaling businesses.



Later, the two moved on past the outer walls, and Magrinn was given the opportunity to examine the various spaces and facilities within the fortifications, during which the mason discussed with the priest their potential new uses under the new administration. The subject of hiring practices and regulations for the security personnel were discussed at length, and the advantages and drawbacks of a local or imported or mixed workforce were weighed.

The pair later moved for a brief overview of the insides of the mines themselves, during the topic of infrastructure to expedite the transfer and storage of the ore was discussed, alongside more security concerns in regards with the previous owners of the mines, and the need for a thorough examination of the existing tunnels.



Finally, the visit concluded in the crystal caves above the Iron Mines, whose potential acquisition, while lower a priority, had been previously raised by the Directorship of the Golden Wheel. The general consensus following the cursory examination was that the caves are highly hazardous and a in-depth exploration of their potential resources would be required before an effective cost analysis could be made.

Following the conclusion of his visit, Magrinn assured Tathra that he would work on a more thorough report on the costs, time-table, tools, materiel, and workforce needed to tackle the reconstruction efforts, after which the two of them retired back to Nashkel to rest at the local inn.

Rumors flow like coin at market that the Golden Wheel sent a trade convoy and delegation south to Crimmor from Nashkel in recent days, lead by Director Natalia Fernanda, perhaps to meet with various personas of note involved in the Rhonmark barony succession dispute. The outcome of the politics at hand, whether lucrative or implosive to the investor returns of the company, or both, remains to be seen. Perhaps due to the Amnian society status of Lady Narasida, a major investor in the Golden Wheel, the delegation was able to gain audience with the Mayor of Crimmor in their visit to the city to exchange a brief conversation in his office chambers. Strangely, the strictly business minded group could later be seen entering a house of debauchery while in Crimmor, allegedly "on business", then exiting a time later.
