Discussions were had and options were considered, but in the end the Church of Kelemvor in Baldur's Gate decided to keep their contributions minimal. With death being constant in and around Baldur's Gate thus keeping most Kelemvorites busy, and not wishing to risk the Cyricsts into an early, zealous and frenzied attack, it was decided that the majority of Kelemvorite clerics and other champions would remain behind in Baldur's Gate. However, at least a couple Kelemvorites decided that they would slip into River's End quietly sometime before the final day of the planned attack. The cloaked Kelemvorites that did arrive in the town of River's End would be there attempting to prevent as much premature death as possible.

On their persons would be the means for resurrection; diamonds, scrolls, and whatever other trinkets or weapons to battle Cyricsts and prevent any of the villager's early end before the proper, appointed hour would be packed and brought along. Magical staves and other personal devices to fight against the hordes of Cyric would also be brought to be personally used. Beyond that, at least one extra shovel and one additional Lyre of Building would be brought with Priestess Afendaria, in case the bards required an extra! The bards would just have to ask her for it, should they need to use it.

After the meeting at River's End, the elderly caretaker of the temple of Mystra approaches the Knights of the Mystic Fire regarding speaking to Justinian. After a brief but polite exchange, the old man is seen teleporting back with a small elf to the temple of Mystra, where he meets with Lady Neela.

After a somewhat lengthy talk, some of it rather concerning to the old man, he ensures to leave missives for the other Mystrans out in the field, informing them of their new orders and tasks on behalf of the temple of Mystra when it comes to River's End, and also several of the allies of the temple.

Once many Candlemarks had passed that eve, and the candle gave out its final flicker of life, the old man headed to the scrying room of the temple and set himself in for a long night of watching and waiting.

The Green Enclave prepares to help mostly indirectly, with several druids and rangers preparing spells to make the terrain more difficult for any advancing army, turning roads to mud, and encouraging tangling growth and spike growth to stop, slow, and demoralize any advancing Army.

Emmanuel himself seeks out local spirits and fey, encouraging them to join in the fighting.

"They have destroyed a shrine of Silvanus, my friends. An ancient tree sits in the town, and they seek its destruction as well. They have corrupted druids and rangers in service to nature. They are enemies of nature, and care not for us. If they are successful, they will harm nature once again. Let us rise and defeat this force, to bring balance back to the land, and ensure no further disruption of the balance from them!"

Emmanuel would also check on the tree in the town, seeking to help revitalize it if he is able.

The Enclave also pledges to aid in the direct fighting as much as they are able, as well as having their pacifist healers assist with triage and healing.
