On a quiet morning in Soubar an older man would be seen walking around the town. Stoping to talk with several of the Blackrose men before stopping at the bulletin board looking over the zhentarim notice. He would call them over laughing to himself.

"Well boys looks like we can't attend any more zhentarim party's. Wonder what set em off this time."

Letting out a hearty belly laugh before walking on.

A very small blonde haired Hin dressed in a white blouse, black cloak, black pants, and dark boots is seen posting notices in Baldur's Gate, Beregost, Gullykin, Nashkel, and Soubar.

The notice is neatly written in the language of the Hin.
Hidden: show
Children of Yondalla!

The Gullykin Militia is recruiting with an utmost need to fill the ranks with brave-hearted Hins. The stalwart militia sacrificed for the greater good as taught by Yondalla, the mother of all Hin, in the valiant defense of Kraak Helzak from the aggression of the Troll King.

As a volunteer of the militia, you will enjoy the company of right-sized people as the volunteers promote the Good Folk in the lands of the Longs Legs, and protect the interests of Gullykin.

Inquiries can be made with Willow Whispermouse of Gullykin.

Melissar is looking for good folk that want to help in the Soubar Mayor campaign.
Need:
Security crew, land crew and scribes.
Banites or anyone worshipping evil gods need not to apply, I am only looking for good and honest folk to turn around Soubar into a nice place.

An extremely fancily clad individual wearing countless symbols of Bane on his person and sporting some glorious facial hair approaches the board and looks over the most recent postings before letting out a hearty laugh and making a slight face-palm.

“Well suppose I’ll begin my own campaign for King of the Gate as well...”

He walks off back to his daily routine of meeting with various denizens of the tent-town, deciding to let them continue to have their fun.

*asgar puts up a notice right under it*

Wait im confused. Around the gate you call these people monsters and plagues to the land. Now you want to help them after youve repeatedly starved them and cut off supply routes? Offer them no help and come to commit violence when you get your panties in a knot? But you are here for them..... *badly drawn winky face*

Rumor has it that a group of Laborer's from the "Northern Outpost" could be seen heading into "Thundar's ride" under escort and protection of Blackrose Soldiers.
Once entering the area they would sent up a small encampment in a forested area and begin felling trees, debarking them, Sawing them down and getting them ready for transport.

A raven perched nearby in the boughs of the trees being felled in Thundars Ride. If approached, it would flutter away... only to eventually return, settled on a new perch.

*There were actually a disquieting number of bears, particularly a mere day into operations to be confronted with the sight. The she bear, was flanked by another she bear, and to the other side a large male brown bear. There were enough large bears among the congured grouping of creatures in her small army, but as a final show of strength she spoke a soft prayer and was futher bolstered by the appearance of a greater elemental. She would wait to be approached and spoken to but she would not allow work to continue. If people continued to work before she was addressed, they would find the area full of trip wires and mired by entangling vines which would harmlessly slow if not stop their efforts until she was satisfied by a response. Any move to remove what sawed lumber was harvested so far from the woods before entreating the clearly angered forest kin was likely to end badly.*

Something white moved behind the gathered bears before it moved alongside to stand near the front off to the side of them them. A dalmatian sat upon the ground and watched the men working, still as a statue. A man with dusky skin and golden yellow eyes moved around the small army of woodland creatures with ease as he joined his spotted companion with a hand placed atop her head, resting there, silently awaiting the workers' response with an unblinking stare, observing the standoff.

Continues to work through the mass of random animals suddenly appearing really didn't concern her, like the many dire wolves, the rare dread wolf and their packs roamed the area regularly attacking everything and anyone. They already made it clear these druids had no intention of talking brining in battle forms incapable of speaking. She figured and knew that the small animal army would be torn up by the wild that called this area home, beasts they have been fighting with for some time now. Wolves would be their audience here. Attacking the druids that stand and claim these trees are theirs, that the stone is theirs. While the women merely think of the city of boulders gate, how many trees and stones were taken for that. "Shouldn't they be preaching there, surely mass 'lumber' clearance for the massive city land space, the forests, the massive holes in the ground to build a city, not a small building" she comments to more herself but loud enough for a nearby worker to hear. Maze ignored their protest and continued to work, though alert and ready to take a blade should the animal party wish to shed blood on the dirt. Not once has she seen a druid anywhere near her or this area till now while they fought off to protect again bugbears and goblins and worse merely a few miles away destroying the land elsewhere.

One of the laborers would put down his ax place it against the tree he was sizing up upon noticing the group of Bears and other animals that arrived. He would walk over to the mess tent and grab a water skin before heading in the direction of the group before them. All he wore was a a pair of pants held up by a leather strap, his chest was bare and exposed as he made the short walk he would motion the sentries to ease up as they has all stopped to take notice prepared for anything.
He would walk a few feet away from the druid and take a small drink from the water skin. Clearly he was tired and thirsty the man clearly dripping in sweat.
He looks over the group once more before speaking. "What can i help you druid folk with?" A small smile appearing on his face before emptying the rest of the water skin over his head trying to cool down. He had clearly not heard the strangers words before over the chopping and felling of trees.

She would raise her eyes to see a muscular man wearing nothing but pants walk by the tent that she was in treating one of the laborers wounds from a mishap from a felled tree. A few moments later she would come out of the tent and peer into the distance at the group, But not able to make out the interchange between the man approaching them from the ongoing work she would tell the nearest sentry to tell the laborers to stop what they were doing. A few moments later and the camp would fall silent as she would walk within earshot to the the man talking with the druids.

*The blinded woman in the hood, wearing no armor and painted with runes in ash and red mud, tracked the incoming steps with her eyeless stare and held her position. If any animal growled or moved she postured toward it and it maintained its ground without further complaint. She smiled, broadly, exposing her canines at the comments of the more disgruntled worker who seemed to itch for a fight and then saved her words for the ones in charge.*

As I have warned the Gate, I now warn you. What you take from the wilds must be repaid. The balance must be made whole. I see you at least only fell older trees, and so I appear unarmed rather than attacking.

You fell the old trees but you do so indescriminantly. I see no replanting, I see no selectivity for fast growing species. I see a campsite flattening the underbrush, I see waste and sawdust piled to rot, and there will be fires in my forests to warm your food. More growth to die so that you may build walls.

I asked the Gate how it repaid and reviered the balance... They told me they planted gardens.

A garden is no more the wilds than a fish bowl is the sea. Hopefully the crafty Blackroses have more to say?
