While the player-run plot kind of died in the water and we had to contrive reasons to call it off, I had lots of fun while it was going on.

And it showed a few key players that Marietta has a moral compass that spins wildly most of the time, but on occasion, it does guide her north. (She was making her peace with her resulting PK; that in and of itself set a few things in motion.)

I found myself listening to this a lot while I was making my own peace with her impending PK, and the hopefully surprising reveal that would have come after. It was really apt for her mindset during that time.

Finally I'm getting around to selecting a (current) theme song for Carah. I've gone through a lot of them this week, and finally settled on one that pretty well captures her optimistic outlook and drive to be a good person, but subtly underlines the way she constantly finds herself drawn to her inner darkness as well. It highlights her constant struggle to reconcile the two while doing her best to be a beacon of light and hope for those who need it, and facing the negative consequences of her choices.

Bonus points - I've imagined Carah's singing voice as being very similar to the female lead in this song too.
