A poster is put up on the notice board, and in the taverns of the city if able.

Those up early enough in the morning would bear witness to an ever increasing number of combat drills on the edge of the city limits. Workers driven virtually to their limits, some held up by their comrades, to the background of drillmaster shouting.

One eyed armored man is seen entering various temples around Baldur's Gate, inlcuding the temples of Ilmater, Torm, Tyr, Mystra, Tempus and temple of Helm in Palace District. If one would talk to these faithful present in the temples at the time, or overhear them chat, they would tell the man came in looking for someone cabaple enough to restore his lost eye. Before leaving, the man would also mention.

If someone comes along with this kind of ability I can be found in the Friendy Arm Inn or Elfsong Tavern here in the Gate. Just ask for Dorengar at the bar and look for a one eyed man and yeah I can pay for this service.

/// If you are interested in helping out Dorengar send a PM to this account. We take it from there. :D

A letter is delivered to the Elfsong bearing the seal of the Temple of Ilmater.

A tall thin tiefling is seen walking along the streets of the Merchant and Palace districts taking particular notice of the larger more grandiose houses. He makes enquiries with the local residence and the fist patrols as to weather any of the houses are for sale.

Rumors speak of an absurd confrontation between a Fist watchman and a blind man. The story varies somewhat from mouth to mouth but all hint at the man being deprived the use of his walking stick in the farmlands. Though many bystanders came to the blind man's defense, verbally lambasting the guard for his strict adherence to the laws the blind man acquiesced without argument, apparently not wishing to break the laws. Terri Lalani offered to guide master Hoffman away from the area.

Rumours intensify that an important caravan from Beregost is stuck along the Coast Way and cannot reach Baldur's Gate. The undead army trying to cross river Chiontar makes it too dangerous for a slow wagons to travel through the Wyrm's Crossing. As a result, food delivery for defendants of Kraak Helzak and the refugees from Scornubel is reportedly waiting idly at the Friendly Arms Inn.

It is rumored that the War Council met in the Pathfinders Hall. The meeting lasted for many hours and hopefully the right decisions were reached.

Rumor may reach the odd ear away from the Gate that a young moon elf woman garbed in white and black robing with a set of silver spectacles has been busy within the Gate. It seems she's quite insistent on finding a candle stick-maker, for a large order of plain white candlesticks.

"It's tradition." the elf would insist to anyone curious of her bizarre order.

"Light in the darkness in the simplest of forms. The Gate needs hope, and solidarity. A lit candle in your hand, and in the hand of your brother, shines not only in the dead of night. But warms the soul of all those around you."

Rumor may continue on that the young elf woman may be seen attempting to talk down, console and calm those preaching of doom visiting the Gate, with sermons of hope and Angharradh's wisdom.

This day...at the Wide....

The Mystic Margaretta leads Smythe to smaller tent, where she calls upon spirits, within a seance...a dark fog surrounds the two, wherein their voices are barely whispers and what is said, is impossible to hear.

Time passes, and the dark fog dissipates. The Mystic Margaretta walks away from Smythe, who remains seated upon the ground for some time, pensive.

Later, Smythe can be seen walking to the Helm & Cloak feast hall, where he doesn't leave for the foreseeable future.

I am looking at forming an Alchemist's Guild.
If you have skill in alchemy, of whatever level, and are interested, please contact Maddy Thunderkeg at the Blade and Stars.

Rumours begin to spread about the city of the death of one of the priestesses of Mystra, the sun elf named Aeili. According to Neela, Aeili passed away from excessive injuries she sustained while maintaining some kind of spell upon one of the Lathanderite warriors who had gone in to battle against The General.

Rumours also spread about the bizarre petrification of Aeili's partner and fellow Mystran adherent, one Charraj Cain of the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange. His statue seemed to have been found by Priestess Neela, frozen in a stooping pose over Aeili's fallen body as she lay in situ before the Mystran altar in her temple. It is not known how he ended up in this state, although Neela probably suspects it may have been an attempt at suicide.

Aeili's remains have since been consecrated and interred in the Temple of Ilmater, primarily because that temple has superior facilities for such, until it can be decided who now, if anyone, would be willing to supply diamonds for a resurrection ritual for her. Inquiries are being made amongst the city's arcanists about sourcing a Stone to Flesh spell to restore Charraj to flesh and bone, if indeed anyone in the SCCE or otherwise is willing to pay for that as well. His stone form remains before the Mystran altar.
