Server found and logs in, but it stops and disconnects after awhile.

My merchant character is still logged in. He's been walking around the Nexus putting out campfires that people left behind.

Server attack. As usual. Will just wait for the temper tantrum to stop. On the plus side of things it gets people discussing on the forums. Considering the time it took for the auto updater to be fixed and things to get rolling at all again the future is bright! DDOSers be damned!!!

The more the attacks keep me from logging the more I want to join. So... It won't deterr me for sure.

No thought should be wasted on that anyways. Just ride the wave .

And forum rp works for me too, a bit.

Every time the server gets tanked I lurk forums and do some sketching with the help of Y:DouTube vids.

Dang....This ddos fella realy seems buthurt about something , One can only wonder why he is so mad...

I had a brilliant idea to solve the lag problem !


First we need someone create a human character .

Next said character marries , few years later he shall be happily dinning with his wife and two children inside their beloved home .

This shall proceed until a suitable time at which the dinner and lag coincide .

At the moment of lag arrival a friendly DM shall ensure said character and his family are attacked by ninja goblins !

Normally no issue for the character to defeat in a heartbeat but the lag causes him to disconnect while his family is left at the mercy of the remorseless attackers .

Lastly standing over the bodies of his family the character swears revenge and takes on a vicious crusade against the lag-bringer !

Than we just wait for the inevitable doom of said lag-bringer .

Small problem though , to ensure success said character would need be named Chuck Norris and there's those pesky copyrights and all ...

Connecting without CE seems to help with at least joining.

Weird.

Yeah, but it's unplayable, atleast if you intend to grind.

I kinda wonder if it's a technical issue or the server is being attacked again. It would be nice if the staff could tell us more.

It seems like I come home every day from work around 3:45-4:00 EST, and the server is unplayable.

Are there any automated processes that happen during this time that could be causing it? Someone should check the server's event logs for clues.
