The sun elf chose the temple to lay in recovery, donned in her robes after being helped out of her armor. The armor and tunic lay next to her bloodied and with markings of blade and spell. She lays with her cloak as a blanket and an ioun stone swirling over her in the absence of the clergy.

Elyssa had spent hours in the tower writing, among the parchments were several missives. She had them sent out by runners. She briefly left the tower to put up a notice for her kin in the village to read. More visitors came, and a gifted wine was drunk with accompanied dance and song that followed in the Jest.

A meeting happened within the jest, elven rangers and those of the Elder Circle were present. On the table across the fireplace a map was placed down.

A colorful, artfully arranged bouquet arrives for "Miss Viridiana of Doron Amar."
A small parchment that bears a return address of "Seekers' Quarters, Candlekeep" is nestled between the flowers and the heavy paper that surrounds their stems.

The temple at Doron Amar was abuzz earlier that day, as a great number of individuals came to meet and talk about some important matters. After long hours of discussions upon various topics, the group parted their ways, each going in their own direction, though it would seem the meeting might perhaps take place once again.

Hoihe returns to Doron Amar with a sizeable wild board carried by a young earth elemental. Nearby the poultry pens, she goes around dissecting the beast into fowl friendly bits and leaves it stashed away from most of the chickens, except for the smartest ones. She even goes as far as leave a signpost saying: "For the smartest and most beautiful of chickens." over the heap of meat.

Over the past tenday a red haired knight has made frequent visit to the village. With each visit she makes directly to the Jest paying visit to a bedridden elf. She seemed insistent in getting the elf back onto her feet.
The second day she managed to get the elf out of the bed, carrying her down to the river.

On the third day they returned to the river, the knight assisting the weakened elf into the waters this time who managed a weak swim.

An assisted walk was achieved on the fourth day, Viridiana using the larger woman's arm for support.

Hoihe was seen leaving Doron Amar in determined hurry, not even changing out of the dress as she cut right into the wildreness from the Erevan's Jest.

A story told within the Jest, after a group congregated by chance on the road in Doron Amar. Those of Corellon's blood and others alike. Some were not. Though it was not a time of joy or pleasantries. Instead a grim atmosphere hung in the air. A story told, one of shadow, one of loss.

Doron Amar was busy with visitors these few days, travelers and friends from Baldurs Gate among kin. There, a repeating of stories were told among the heavy hearts in need of lifting; Scions, Shadow Plane and a Queen. And a loss of things dear. There was a mood of concern and worry for kin afflicted, and for not one but two of the councillors. Though some concerns bore less relation to the other.

After Hoihe's tale, and Soora borrowing her upstairs, the two white haired women returned, with guilt on the half-elf's features and Soora just left with a farewell to Elyssa and Viridiana before returning to her camp.

Not staying to explain, Hoihe herself departed quickly enough, in a different direction.

Later on, Soora was seen heading to her camp while Hoihe sat kneeling at the temple, offering an amulet at the altar to Sehanine, gems to Hanali.

Interestingly enough, despite the scene, the captain moved back to her usual campsite shared with Soora.

On the 18th day of Flamerule 1352 DR an unusually large group of adventurers gathered outside the Friendly Arm inn, speaking of various disturbing matters, among others sightings of drow on the surface and hunting of the same. They waited for one "Viridiana" for what felt to some like a lifetime, and from their chatter it would be apparent that they were off to find a very specific Balor, on the Grey Peak mountains.

Teleporting from a spot right by the drawbridge of the keep were Elyssa Symbaern, Viridiana Lydhaer, Sirion Te'Dwa, Lorna Halda (formerly Talindra Nightstar), Rose Valexe, Teharissa Vennelis, Vendor Xan, Cillian Greaves, Vala Reyer, Shandril Brightmantle, Whisp and Fierlith Silverglade who was, however, left behind as they vanished in a puff of magic.

Image

Appearing by Boaresky bridge, they took some boats up the river and fought their way up the mountain, until they found their quarry. They wasted little time. The battle was joined.

Image

Leaving the Balor no easy way to escape, it was overcome within a short period of time. As it fell to the ground, ranger Viridiana Lydhaer would confirm that it appeared to be the one they had come for. After spending ridiculous amounts of time chatting about all kinds of things they finally made their way down the mountain.

The question remained... what, beside the obvious, had the Balor's death achieved?

The Sun-Elf Councillor made her rounds in the village, as the spririts were in need of lifting. “The day of Corellon's Peace approaches, there is much preparation to be done in time for the end of this tenday.” Midsummer's Eve was near, and a new year marked when peaces meet. It would be the first for her to celebrate this occasion away from home, a holy day in honor to the Creator of Elves but celebrated in faiths of many kinds in their respective forms.

She speaks with the villagers in kind, to encourage them to make it a special occasion. Decorations, play, food, dance and festivities. Celebration of the Melding of Three, contests of Archery by those following Solonor. A mention of friends in the Elder Circle joining in festivites.

Shieldmeet is near, a most joyous occasion. And word of it spread.
