A moment in time—the hooded deep gnome, with layers of stones sewn into the edges of his clothing, the attire of a stone mystic of the Svirfneblin race, holds a hand against the wall, his head slightly bowed, a deep concentration, as if to feel through the stone...a prayer, it could be, rolls out quietly passed lips, an attempt, to empower the contact with the great veins of deep-earth, such that what travels throughout all the lands, and in one way, is connected, except when divided by air or water.
