The village was bustling with activity to prepare the decorations and meals for the festivities to come. Midsummer's Eve Festival and Shieldmeet were a breath away.
((I want to thank Herisheft for responding so quickly to the request to make our festival area more robust and beautiful. Unfortunatly it seems it would not be uploaded in time for us to enjoy it this weekend. My error to tarry requesting it.
Here are pictures to imagine it different.))

The eve turns to the early morn of a new day. The day for Midsummer's Eve celebrations has arrived. Across the coast, those inclined to festivities might enjoy the days in wild and joyful manners or see to the ceremonies of their gods. But among those friendly to the elves might hold a curiosity or an inkling - how do the fair folk celebrate on this particular day?
It may hap you need an elf to show you the way to a village of hidden wonders, and partake in music and feastings.
Those of Tel'Quessir blood would full and well know how important Shieldmeet is after the merriment of Midsummer's eve, an event that but comes once in four years. They would be welcome in the nearest communities to join.
((Doron Amar is in a state of Celebrations this Saturday 30th and Sunday 31th. Feel free to post in what manner you found yourself come this way.))

The enjoyments last well into the late hours and into the night. Some leave for the day, but more come to replace. Midsummer festival is in full revelment.

Amidst celebrations a dragon appeared! Albeit an illusionary one from elven cooperative magic. It soared through the sky, setting itself high atop the Wizards Tower. It slowly faded into the night as the moon rose high to the sky.

A new day had dawned, some awake still from the celebrations of Midsummer's eve. Others had found their much needed rests or partook in a hunt of orcs on Cinnaelos'Cor. This day coming, one very special to the Tel'Quessir may prove one just as well for those present in the village.

Rustles and shoves of wood, ticks of a hammer, tables and chairs set aside. The unrolling of cloths. Lines fast attached. What was decorated in celebration of music and feastings changed to fairs, performances and tournament.
Those in the village were hard at work to see to everything setup for the day. Mentions of an archery tournament setup by followers Solonor, and the singing of hymns in celebration of the Melding of Three. Some may have even seen fit to sell works of elven artisanry in remembrance of the Day of Corellon's Peace. Then what further suprises even the councillor does not know of, could appear.
The day would mark the end of one aeloulaev; when peaces meet to the start of a new one.

A Councillor watches the village as the day closes in to nightfall.
Merriments less rambunctious then of those the eve afore. Though surprises aplenty with new visitors and races of many the unexpected sort. A display of a peace offering in humility in honor of the day. A sudden disappearance/reappearance of one of the hosts. A contest of archery held with a threeway tie, broken by a devout of Solonor - winning the tournament. A prayer to the Moonmaiden with a further nourishing from the exitement of the day with food and wine.

Being remissed of attending the ceremonial chant that Selûne's devout perform on the sacred night of Shieldmeet, Shandril humbly begged permission of councillor Elyssa to perform part of the chant amid the elven village. Thus as the Moonmaiden was perched highest upon the sea of night during her voyage across the starlit heavens, the young woman engaged in prayer with her gaze locked upon the Lady of Silver.
Hear us as we give thanks O'Goddess.
Help us to find within,
what you have shown us without.
Open our hearts that we may deliver
on your promise of peace,
through the just treatment of others.
That we may uphold the rights
of the downtrodden
and be their champion.
That by our deeds you shall
be known as a gracious,
and benevolent Goddess.
Teach us to love others
in the face of their indifference
or hate.
Accept us now, O Goddess,
your humble servants
To carry your word to the unremembering.
Silver Lady nestling in the midnight sky,
Shine your ageless wisdom upon our souls.
Guide us and nourish our spirits with your mysteries
So that we may flourish and grow under your beauty.
Oh goddess of light, teach us the truths we so desire
And let us bathe in your silver aura.
Cleanse our bodies in your purifying light
And uplift our minds with your magic and majesty.
So shall we honour you with our hearts
And forever follow your illuminated path
To the centre of our souls.
Mother moon, O'Selûne shine your light upon us.

*throughout the entire festival, Councilor Eowiel remained in the temple to the Seldarine, sometimes having a discussion with Sirion, but otherwise head bowed, deep in thought. She did not seem to acknowledge the festival in any way*

A glass sphere spun swiftly upon nearby stone, a murmur behind Eowiel heard. "Speak. I am here only until the sphere expires."

A form takes shape within the Shadows as she steps out wisps pull away from her body revealing the female elf. Her gaze drifts to the sphere which rings familiarity before shifting to Eowiel.
"You wished to speak? I heard a few whispers that you were here."

The day quietly returned to normal after the morning of rest. All signs of the festivities had been cleaned up and stored for another opportunity. The village returns as it was, with richer memories then the days afore.

A rather embarassed Mystran would leave Doron Amar with quite the heavy hangover, her first in a long, long time. As recompense for her alcohol-induced couch-sleeping a courier would arrive at the gates after a few days with a gift for Councillor Symbaern. Eight books are handed over.
