The Thayan Enclave has never been seen this active.
Crates are sent toward Siege weapon stations, delivering a Thayan weapon to fight the unliving invader.

The Helm & Cloak...legendary within Baldur's Gate for its revelry and ale-free environment, now famous for its safe harbor in such dire, bleak times.
By the grace and generosity of a rarely recognized half-elf swordsman, wine and food flows for free on his tab, as those that manage to convince the burly doorman they are fully living beings and do not have any poisons potions of swirly, green, snot-like liquid upon their person, are heartily welcomed inside and given respite from the suffering that has been brought to the Gate by mismanaged planning. Alas...time cannot be changed backward, so some do what some do...and others, do what they do, but as long as all are busy doing something, then, a glimmer of faith flickers in the cold, evil, deathly night. So say we all....
Speaking of nights...those within the Helm & Cloak are much comforted by the knowing that the seasoned company of the Knights of the Unicorn keep a sharp watch upon the door, windows and situation outside the Feast House, or not. These known adventurers of the Realm and sworn merry makers in the face of possibly insurmountable odds, they carry little worries nor fear, naturally, it appears...and such, those inside the Helm & Cloak, have their spirits very high and their feet warm (and the flowing kegs of drink helps!).

Captain Asher and Crew all fought bravely along side the Gatesmen as long as they remained on land.
However, when the call came the DragonWing, along side the Wandress, set sail for Waterdeep.
A long and strenuous voyage brought them north and back, the two returning complete with
accompanyment as swiftly as the twoships could manage..

As the days gave way to night, when naught might be heard but for the low moans of wandering dead or the cries of the wounded...
... a frequent coalescence transpires.
Shrouded forms darting from shadow to shadow silently prowl down the back alleys and less traveled lanes of the Docks. Single file they creep, resembling thin black tributaries edging through the darkened streets, moving with purpose towards whatever undead creatures managed to encroach upon the district.
Any bystanders who would be brave enough to linger past dark near any of the undead roamers might hear the near silent hiss of blades from nearby, and then an eruption of blades from the dark would descend, albeit only ever so briefly, upon the dead before the darkly clad individuals returned to the shadows...
Come every mornings light since the undead broached the Palace district, the phenomenon of sparse but newly re-deceased undead bodies would be seen to litter the city streets...

Rumors have begun to spread around the city and areas just under the jurisdiction of the gate, stories of rats carrying the plague in the city found in the harbor, stories of kids being forced into thieving in order to earn a living or avoid beatings.
It appears there may be cause for concern as small time crime becoming more organised either out of necessity or opportunity and a fear that plague or disease could very easily make a fragile situation much more dire. On top of this tension between civilians has been getting hostile in some areas.
A small group of adventurers including but not limited to an Elf a Dwarf a Hin and a Knight were seen investigating but as of yet no reports have been made public, its not immediately apparent if they made the situation better or their discoveries revealing worse things to come.

*Terri Lalani of Phoenix Company would be seen organizing Escort service south from the wyrms crossing to as far south as Beregost keeping the citizens and Merchants safe. Over the course of the day Two Player characters would have escorted, merchants and travelers alike with no losses and zero sightings of bandits*
///edited out (multiple trips) and changed to (two Player characters would have been escorted) to represent that No god modding had occurred against npc's.

An angry dwarf by the name of Macgar Blackbeard has been seen causing a bit of a commotion. He is shouting about stolen furs and trying to intimidate or question the citizens of the docks.

A blond haired elf, seemingly taken part in an investigation at the docks arrived at the Ilmatar temple, carrying a pouch. The temple was exceptionally busy that day with more arriving and leaving that day. She was seen exiting the temple few hours later, without the pouch.

It is said the acting captain of the Whistling Wanderess, wearing her captainy attire and a pink, flowery hat has sat at the docks with a lute and sang a song in an inspiring tune. It is said she has learned it from a soldier who has reunited with his daughter after decades of seperation, bringing them once more together
"Wade in the night to dance the wild ballet the brutal fray
Wade in the night to lost yourself inside the feral fight
Wade in the night embrace the unrestrained, the cruel ballet
In the fire, in the fire, in the fire, bathe in the fire
Wade in the night
Past the world, past the night, past the stars where sea birds fly
Past your dreams to toyland’s shore, where we will meet again once more
Wade in the night when what you were is through, the light came for you
Wade in the night the day that you were found and lay your burdens down
Wade in the night even the walking damned defend their lambs
Wade in the night all your creations too return to you
In the fire
Bathe in the fire
Wade in the night
Wade in the fire, towards victory played on the lyre!
Wade in the night, shielded beneath the Aegis of the knight
Wade in the dawn, towards future drawn
Wade in the day, despite the destruction lay
In the fire
Bathe in the fire
Wade in the night
Wade in the fire, where beauty is forged, never tire!
Wade in the night, there is no more blight
Wade in the dawn, remember, remember the grace of the young fawn
Wade in the day, behold new life in the bay!
In the fire
Bathe in the fire
Wade in the night"

Desrah, happening past after a long day of ferry duty, gave pause long enough to listen to her friend's song. She left without word or drawing attention to her presence. With a soft smile and lighter step from the show, she headed to the Wyrm's crossing to check on things with the Ferryman...

According to various denizens of the Eastern district, a well-armored figure, bearing the symbol of Torm was seen visibly arguing and following a man with long hair. After several minutes some say they both were seen exiting the weapon shop of Maltz.
Some say that they kept arguing and at some point the long-haired man was evidently missing.
Many claim with certainty however that later, the heavy-armored man seemed rather angry, looking around the narrow backstreets of the district, yelling and running as if looking for someone.

A blond haired elf seems to be spreading word, asking for volunteers for a search of remains of the dead unaccounted for. The first search will go underway in a few hours. ((12:00 noon GMT, 15 January))
