The Morninglord Tolan enters the church and hands a letter adressed to Ameris, to Sister Adolina. He leaves the church soon after.

The Priest of Ilmater Ameris, a common fixture at the temple (even moreso in recent months) departs with a pack full of supplies, as if for a long journey. He tells Brother Marcus and the sisters he will return soon, but must go at once.

a bright an cheerful woman enters the temple, her hair the color if crushed orange with a halo of fresh flyers. her pale skin covered in soft freckles. she is 6ft tall with a slim frame but evidence of an active life style. she walks to the first friendly face she finds.
"hello, i am Tegan. Would you have some one free to teacher me about healing? i would be most grateful."

Sehlanna waves up to him from one of the flower beds, dabbing her brow with a cloth and setting away the apron. Good wine and food are sent for to greet Ameris' return.

Ameris returns from a short trip, bringing a box of raisin cookies which are rather less sweetened than usual. Ameris, however, seems very taken with them, offering them around to visitors, clergy and patients. He promises that more will be delivered from "our Lathanderite Friends" - and sure enough more are, along with some similarly savoury muffins.

*Another delivery has been made by a young blonde haired woman known as Eleanore who was accompanied by a blonde knight dressed in black and silver. This time she only left a basket of blueberry muffins, promising to return soon with more.*

Ameris sits vigil from the small hours in preparation for a ritual. When the dawn comes, he retires to the private chambers not to be disturbed, some preparations requiring solitude.

The familiar voice of the Ilmateri priest, Ameris, drifts quietly beneath the wooden door of the chapel and out into the halls of the temple. Hand on the Paladin's shoulder, the priest's blessing washes over the the young woman, causing her fair skin to instantaneously dampen with a thin film of sweat as she is thrust backwards with a thud. The nearby Dawnknight, brow also damp in shared pain, watches on in quiet support as the Tyrran's eyes squeeze shut, her body rocked with a troubled shudder. A cry of pain follows as she clutches at her ribs, her arm, her heart; as if seeing or reliving some kind of vision. The ritual draws to a close, mixed emotions lingering in the atmosphere.

*A large, rawboned figure with fiery beard and hair can be seen entering the church of Ilmater. He is clad in plate with cowl and mantle pulled close. A few with long memories might recall him faintly but then again, perhaps not. He spends several hours conversing with Ameris and Cecilia, the former apparently having been looking for this man many years past, unsuccessfully. The name "Deacon" is spoken by both though the context is unclear. The three converse amicably and the newcomer offers his services to the temple and specifically to Ameris. Quarters are granted and brief goodbyes before the stranger leaves to reacquaint himself with the city and coast in general.*

After having asked Ameris what is needed in the infirmary, Laitae spends the entire night quietly mixing poultices and tonics. Just before the other workers at the temple wake up, she departs leaving a note that she will be at the temple of Mystra, but will return soon. The people at the temple of Ilmater would find a whole table filled with bowls and vials containing various poultices and tonics, making the temple well stocked on such.

Ameris would be very relieved at having one of his chores done for him! No doubt then finding himself relegated to kitchen duty.
In fact, he is seen paying special attention to Sister Adolina's handywork, where before he had ways been a much more passive kitchen hand.

Brothers, Sisters,
We are called to action. Six former slaves from the Underdark, marked with disease, are held in a camp we have set up south of the Wyrm's Crossing. They remain contagious for now, hence their location. They are within eyesight of the Fist but we must guard both the curious from them, and them from predators, while they recuperate. I ask you all to attend and man the camp; to provide protection and healing to the sick.
The strength of the disease is unknown as of yet. We must be swift and rigorous in providing the blessings of the Broken God, and the skill of our healing hands and herb lore. Remember to take steps to protect oneself when visiting the camp. Brothers Kalevi, Colwyn and myself have been distributing potions to set back disease, along with concerned volunteers of many backgrounds; I suggest imbibing those as a precaution as well. Contact me if funds are required, we have donations a plenty to meet this demand.
I estimate it will be several days before we can tell whether the contagion is dying down.

Ameris is seen returning to the temple in haste, picking up further supplies and drafting quickly a number of notices and letters. His demeanour is tired and any who approach him may detect an underlying tension in his manner - his conversation is limited to practical matters only.
Once his task is done, he heads south again to the camp at the Wyrm's Crossing.
