The headless corpse of Ivan Wenthel was found in the cloakwood mines.

A symbol of a spider drawn on the cave wall with the guardsman's own blood.

Kaltyra, on catching wind of this, falls over laughing. "The drow finally did something worthwhile!"

Lifting the floor board trap door up to see if there are any rays of sunlight. Discouraged as the sign of light prevents them from there hunt. She open her bag and breaks apart three chunks of Lichen bread and hands the other two out. "Think they found our little rebellions sargtlin?" Looking at the assassin. "Usstan thought that was a nice touch Dos leaving that symbol there." Cazna looks to the assassin with a smile. The warlock continues dragging a stone across his blade.

"Maybe this cycle we find our targets? Hmmm." The warlock stated.

"With as stupid as these kivvil continue to be, this will be our biggest hurdle yet." The assassin replied.

"Well we have at least found Ironfaar." Cazna's eyes dilated in her pure wicked thoughts as she interjected.

The warlock chuckled, "Nau thanks to my help".

"Xas Moksha, and try and keep the killing of spiders to a minimum. Bad luck unto Dos, xas?" Cazna said looking at across the room too Shedera with a smile. The assassin always seemed prepared for almost any type of blood shed.

"Darkness comes soon enough." The warlock replied with a grin.

A large bearded man at the Blade and Stars can be heard telling anyone who listens of the deeds of a man he names Minuvas of the House Melphestaus. The patrons find the man's speech strange, in his words claiming that Minuvas "Wrestled a draugr back into its grave in the grounds of the ruined temple south of the City, before it could begin to prey upon the living."

Although many of the locals consider the tale to be a mere fireside yarn, the teller nonetheless gives a vivid description of the ruins of the Temple of Bhaal, and his "draugr" sounds much like the corpse of a warrior unnaturally returned to life.

Begins the long-tale stories about "Kel", a Phantasm that lives near the Hill Top ruins who demands Wolf skins during a night haunt to prevent his curse.

Minuvas is generally hesitant to talk about the ghost at all, feeling rather guilty about it existing in the first place.

"The Ghost goes by the name of the Lord of Murder...or the Manifestation of Murder...it wasn't quite sure which it liked best...come to think of it, it was quite ponderous for an ethereal being....I suspect that it is a Deer Spirit of some kind, given its ...." and from this he seems to be dribbling off into a long-winded explanation of ghosts, and other ethereal creatures and how they often come to be - losing most of the bar-room crowd at that point.

It is heard that the locals of Nashkel have been talking about recent events up in the mountains. Apparently there have been occasional bursts of blue, sizzling flames at various, seemingly random, locations between the snow-covered peaks. They are so bright that they can even be seen by the people down in the village.

The words spread about a light in the sky, some days ago, near Candlekeep. It is said that some kind of flying star, carrying a tall person and a tiny one, left the beach, near the lighthouse, and went to the east, in the sky, followed by a trail of sparkles.

In the tavern, an old traveler says he heard a loud screech as he was traveling from Beregost to Candlekeep, in the midle of the night.

A potion merchant says she saw a tall woman bearing the mark of the banished walking near a large winged lion, the evening before the event.

A drunkard says he saw a giant eagle with two heads that night, when he was going to spy at the beach to see if there wasn't any naked ladies taking a night swim.

In a dark corner, a shrouded scholar wearing the usual purple robe says everyone has a part of the truth, before leaving the inn, keeping his secrets to himself.

Rumors are heard of an elven archer quickly dispatching one and then another undead minion apparently following a mage near the campfire at the Fallen Arms Inn. The story continues with him telling the mage that if she did that again, it wouldn't be the minion getting shot, whereupon she responded with a shadow summons. According to rumor, he summarily shot her dead.

Near the newly opened Friendly Arm Inn, there stands a statue dedicated to those who went above and beyond the call. Names are carved into the statue. One, the name of Siomir Danneren, is scarred by an extremely precise sword stroke, obliterating it utterly. He was heard to say as he did this "Doesn't mean a thing."

[Some time Later... Meri is seen At the statue... doing her darndest to repair the flaw... When asked why, her response is:]

"It means something to Me."

A necromancer and his minions, both living and undead, were spotted in the hills beyond the gates of Nashkel. The man and his servants were confronted by another group for their blatant reanimation of the dead and a fight broke out.

There are also reports of a similar group running wild in the area around the xvart village near Beregost.

Rith stands before the plaque near the door, glaring at it, trying to work out how to get to two names on that plaque. "let those as bad as we banished to stay in your inn, You will not have our support"

Word spreads from the Friendly Arm Inn, to Baldur's Gate and Candlekeep. A man was caught attempting to pickpocket a Guardsman of Candlekeep, subsequently being caught and handed over to the Fist. The Auctioneer and a number of other Guards about the Inn paid witness to this bearded male in leather attempt the theft, and a rather large crowd gathered during the procession of the Fist taking him into custody.
