Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

*Lady Elvina was seen speaking with several people outside the Friendly Arm Inn in hushed tones, sometimes even appearing to be speaking to herself.*

The Order of the Silver Rose led by Lady Elvina, along with some of their allies who were fully Armed and Armored, patrolled the trade way stopping at each nature shrine to see to it's care. Those seen in the group were Sir Seth, Lady Gina, Lady Missy, Lady Tara, Sir Elias, Lady Erza of the Radiant Heart and The Nain Rouge o' clan Dungeondelver as he calls himself. At the shrine of Chauntea they met up with Edmund who joined them and said a prayer to the Earth Mother. After the prayer the group traveled on to the Fields of the Dead attracting a few more people to the group when faced off with an Elite Vampire and a DracoLich which they dispatched easily. Those joining the group were Solaris, Terri and a couple others. (( apologies for forgetting your names!))

*Lady Elvina and Sir Seth of the Silver Rose stopped by the Temple of Ilmater this evening. They politely and respectfully asked Sister Adolina to let Mr. Ameris know they were there to offer their condolences and ask if there is anything they can do for him in this difficult time.*

*Lady Elvina writes a letter to the Dukes in flowing script. Stamped with the seal of the Order of the Silver Rose, a shield with crossed swords and a silver rose overlay*

*Lady Elvina sends a private missive addressed to Berea and/or Ivan at the FAI as soon as she gets back to the Keep and receives the note from the guards.*

Righteous of the Coast

A new undead menace to all the goodly folk has revealed itself within the Vaults in the Field of the Dead, a skeletal champion warded in golden metal. Instead of outright killing its foes and reanimating them, it uses dark magic to turn them into its unwitting agents that might spy on the land and other righteous organisations. Its exact motives are unknown, but we worry that they will affect the Sword Coast at large.

We had hoped to write this letter with a mind to call the righteous together into a host, composed of many orders and faiths, but one intent - to come together to crusade in fervour, and render holy judgement on this one of the myriad threats that plague the lands.

To remind us all that we are not alone in our service. And to come together not as a series of isolated candles. But as a great, purifying flame.

Whatever lays within the depths, whether lich born of man or draconic, or the golden revenant itself, must be met head on. The evil within the vault must be subjected to righteous judgement. It must be put down for the good of the innocents under threat. It must be illuminated by the unfettered dawn.

It is our hope that you will join together with us under the banners of your Orders and Faiths, so that we may march together to end this menace.

And we pray such holy resolve will spill over into further joint efforts of this nature.

////Hi! We are hoping to run an RP event whereby we get a bunch of holy types together to do some faith RP and, as well, put some hapless undead to the sword!

While we are going to run the RP by the DM team it is likely to be a player driven event only, but the aim is for the various goodly characters on the coast to get together and do something fun.

Once we have an idea of the PCs interested we will set a date. We are thinking a weekend will likely be best, in GMT evening.

The Alarm bell sounds...
The forges burn bright with the sounds of large metal mallets pounding into shape the breastplates of the Knights Armor...
The Swords being sharpened to a razors edge...
The long flowing cloaks cleaned and pressed...
The High Priestess, Sister Mary Katherine, blesses the Knights as they kneel at their alters...
The Squires ready the Heavy War Horses with armored plates...
The healing supplies divided and passed among them...

Heavily armed and armored the Knights stand at the ready!

The giant Artificer of Gond, Keeper of the Holy Anvil, and Guardian of the Order of the Silver Rose marches into the order's keep... The Artificer reaches the order's forges and tirelessly works the anvil for hours, hammering into shape the knights' weapons of war and working the bellows till the room is as searing hot as some reaches of the Underdark. The very stone and metal cries out under the relentless pounding of the Artificer's forgehammer.

*SLAM - SLAM - SLAM*

The Artificer appears determined to counter the unholy force, and to answer the call to arms.

Lady Missy busily finishes up batches of "mission" muffins for the knights to sate them on their journey, whiltz navigating the ever more increasingly cramped kitchen.

In preparation for this, which she feels is the most serious threat the OSR has ever faced, Gina practices her spellcasting upstairs in the training room and practices her melee fighting.

Gina remembers years ago back in Elben Aator that she met a cleric of Selune. This cleric taught Gina some meditation techniques to help best prepare for battle.

Gina recalls these techniques this cleric taught her and takes this ancient practice up again, which helps to mentally and emotionally overcome fear, quiet the mind, and more effectively focus and wield Selunes power more effectively in combat.

She also remembers the benefits this practice has outside of battle also.

She notices that these ancient meditation techniques are particularly beneficial after having her regular devotions to Selune and before going on a patrol.

And when she isn't patrolling or training or doing other duties and such, she goes to the rooftop of the Keep for her devotions and to practice these ancient meditations, preparing herself in body, mind and emotions for what she knows will soon come....

*Upon completion of the weekly meeting, Knight General Seth Siger hastily pens a note and seals it with the seal of the Silver Rose. Calls for a meseenger and tells him that the message must be delivered in all haste. Afterwhich he quickly readies himself for a trip to Baldurs gate. Before leaving he tells Elvina that he will return as quickly as possible and leaves for the Temple of Helm in Baldurs Gate.*
