The Keep is much more quiet of late. Forty of the roughly sixty soldiers of the Keep are now stationed along the River Chionthar. Camp is set up and most of the men and women seem to be guarding the newly arrived materials staging along the river for the bridge construction. Rumor is that soldiers pace the river keeping orc raids at bay. Some say the soldiers may also be there for other reasons, as missives are sent back and forth between Triel and the small Radiant Camp. Missive seem to flow out and to various groups and individuals.

Sendings go out to the High Hall in Athkatla, official letters follow after. Requests for the Radiant Heart headquarters to send reinforcement Knights to the Baldur's Gate region. These soldiers to continue patrols and guard Order interests along the River Chionthar, protecting trade, travelers, and the bridge build site, while the chapter diverts soldiers to the northern region.

After a meeting is held among various groups and individuals in Triel, the soldiers of the Radiant heart stationed along the River Chionthar, begin to pack up much of their camp. Most of the soldiers relocating to supply lines heading north. Their new assignment to protect goods and lumber heading north, supplied by House Darius and House Vale.

=A letter to the Grand Knight=

The Sword of Torm, Alexander Holgart, can be seen approaching the guards of the Radiant Heart Auxiliary with a sealed letter.

His request is for said letter to be shown and opened by the Grand Knight himself, suggesting the content to be highly confidential.

High up in the Troll Claws, Warden Nigel Blaquehawke and 3 of the senior Radiant Heart Archer/Scouts manned an observation post overlooking known exits of the upper dark. Their observation posts concealed by netting and local foliage and rocks kept the Scouts out of sight. As rotating shifts kept a 24 hour vigil over the area.

Copies are sent via courier to the various temples and taverns in the city, as well as south to Beregost, east as far as Greenest, Easting, and Priapurl, and north along the Trade Way.

Good people

The Zhentarim are aligned with the forces of the Underdark! These vile creatures have assembled and marched upon the surface. They commit acts of vile evil upon the peoples who have sent their soldiers north to face the tyrannical Zhentarim. If these Under-Dwelling forces are not put down, there is no telling who will be their next targets. This is a call to any able and willing to protect the victims of these attacks, this is a call to protect your homes from becoming a target.

Any who wish to stand up to these agents of tyranny and destruction, come and gather at Fort Triel. Gold will be allocated to compensate you with equipment, food, and other necessities. Let us show the Zhentarim and their vile Underdark allies that we are not afraid of them, we will not stand by while they raid our homes, and that the Black Network has no place in the Western Heartlands.

Any responding to the call that arrive in Fort Triel would be greeted by the Warden at Arms of the Order of the Radiant Heart. Supply bundles would be given, weapons or armor as needed, and some pay for time and travel. These forces would be gathered and begin drilling on fighting as a unit.

The bridge site continues along its progress. Slowed at times due to Orc raids and issues of the war, the foundation is now set and firm. Materials slowly make their way to the construction site to move to the next step in the process. The outpost designed to protect the bridge now begins to make itself seen. The plans submitted by Master Bhor are followed by the crew and his masterpiece is taking form.

The bridge is now nearing completion.

From Radiant Crossing, along the banks of the River Chionthar the Radiant Archer, Nigel Blaquehawke would step his patrols along the busy rest and supply route of the Lord’s Alliance’s supply lines. Stealthily making his way along Millieki’s Forrest purging any orcs, brigands or dangers of the road. He’d give navigation aid to refugees and people along the way before leaving with a boisterous “Tally-Ho!” As he seems to vanish into thin air

Upon returning from a meeting in Doron Amar, the grand Knight enters the Office and begins writing up orders for assignments and for supplies. Twenty soldiers of the Order and reassigned and gather for their equipment in the Keep's Marshaling Yard. Valduil is placed in charge of these forces, who would march out upon his order, towards the Uldoon Trail. Once they arrive at the Southern end of the Glimmerwood, also known as the Sharpteeth, they would take the route provided by Doron Amar, so as to avoid obstacles and threats of the forest. Upon their arrival, they would set up in appropriate areas for Non-Citizens.

Orders arrived at Radiant Crossing. A sealed envelope with the wax seal of Captain Boots. The Warden broke the wax seal and looked over the orders. Noting the details and burning the letter in the wall sconce near his favorite perch on the South Gate of the Bridge itself. Those Comyrian sky blues fixing of the dark green mass of the Woods of Sharp Teeth.

Quivers restocked and prayers to Mielikki done at the small make shift Chape in one of the squat towers of the small outpost. And the Ranger with his usual Radaint reconnaissance rangers made their way out of the Outpost and into the cool shaded woods. A few seconds later any passer by would swear that the small detachment of Recon Rangers just disappeared in plain sight.

Those that pass near the Order of the Radiant Heart Chapter house will have noticed a bustling of activity. Men at Arms gathering supplies
and conversing quietly between themselves. The squeal of Whetstones, the clash of swords and shields, and the 'thunk' of Arrows into targets a regular sound over the past few days.

Those present at the time would see a procession of Men at Arms. Twenty in total in ranks of two file out from the Chapter house
headed East. Their backs are straight, their heads are upright and proud, their Armour, swords and shields gleaming.
The only sound to be heard is the march of boots and the snap of the odd white cloak whipping in the breeze.
The expression of the Men at Arms is a proud one, yet a grim one.
The only voice to be heard as they march away East is the occasional clear cut order from an Elf carrying a large Bow, marching at their head.

Devoted followers of Torm, over the age of sixteen, within the Keep find themselves with a very determined face. But for a moment, they seem at peace with some decision. Their sense of duty clear upon their expressions. For a moment they stand quiet and focused. Then, slowly at first, before a sudden shift, they turn to golden dust. Where once stood a Knight of the Order, now nothing remained, as the dust quick disappeared into the nothingness. Their dedication to their God clear, as they were chosen to aid fuel one of the greatest battles. Torm has fallen, and his faithful sacrificed.

Solemn work is performed in the Radiant Heart Keep. Several members of the Order paid the ultimate price to aid in their God Torm in his battle. Services for the lost are being prepared. Special Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart cloaks are prepared to represent the lost for the ceremony. The Swords of those who gave their lives are also prepared as an honorable remembrance that are to be returned to the families.

Duty… what better way to honor our fallen Tormite brothers in arms. Than to continue with one’s duties. Warden Blaquehawke and his elite scouting team are seen leaving the South Gate of the bridge of Radiant Crossing. On their light armor they wore a pin with the Sigil of Torm to honor those gone, answering the call of their god. In what now it’s know to be the battle that finally saw the Realm rid of the Dark, Vile and Tyranical god Bane.

So off into the shadows of the Woods of Sharpteeth where streams of light pole through the dense canopy in places the Rangers went. A silent prayer to the Forrest Queen, Miliekki as he disappeared into harms way.
