When asking about Laisren, there are moments of pause after the question being asked. Eventually he would be told that Laisren visits the village regularly but does not stay as long as he used to. A tragic event in the High Moors is mentioned but most refuse to say more about it, asking Sjinn to meet with Laisren if he wants to learn more.
Any elves that departed or returned to the village through the woods might notice the simplest of bedrolls tucked away under the shadowy cover of two low hanging trees some several hundred yards away from the village. Much more easily spotted would be the fallen forms of a half dozen orcs laying face down on the riverside incline near the cave, or the half dozen or more orc bodies strewn about on both sides of a wide log bridge. The manner in which the orcs were dispatched would not seem to vary too greatly from corpse to corpse, which is to say that half of them were struck in the torso by two piercing weapons, while more than a few of the dead orcs had their throats slit. Any fallen weapons belonging to these dead orcs would not betray a simple drop of blood between them.

A half day later Sjinn would wander back to the village still wearing his padded armor and armguards, which would now be speckled with blood that is clearly not his, and simply nod a few times while receiving the reply to his seemingly casual question about Luthien and Laisren. The blue cloaked and hooded elf would then peer a long moment towards the cowled woman again before speaking to either the rangers or whoever might be present...

"Catching up with Laisren will have to wait I'm afraid. I can only afford to linger less than a tenday, and such a conversation might take several of those to complete.". Sjinn would smirk faintly at stating this before continuing.

"Truth be told I've come to speak to the silent one...", his gloved hand would gesture slightly towards the cowled woman then, and his tone of voice softens to one of concern, "... in the hopes of finding out anything that might see her relieved of her predicament, or should I say the absurd implications that were levied against her."

Sjinns countenance would shift almost imperceptibly then, his voice lowering and taking on the slightest of cold and calculating edges, "And... I believe I know precisely the individual that should be rooted out of the Gate and questioned."

The slender moon elf, his manner decidedly business-like now, then casts a brief glance around before turning back towards the woods, "Should anyone else seek the silent ones vindication, I would be more than willing to relay what I am able."

With that, Sjinn drifts off into the woods again, moving in plain sight and making his way down the large hill to recline between the pair of low hanging trees...

"Greetings, cousin. My name is Aeili, originally from the Isle of Evermeet. I wish to seek solace and healing here in your fair village for a time, in accompaniment of my dear friend whom I believe some here have already met," she says, vaguely referring to the human woman known as Sparrow. "The druid Ivan may have already mentioned these things to you."

"As a priestess of Mystra I am willing to lend my assistance to any arcane tasks that your village requires in repayment of your good graces towards me and my dear friend."

She then waits for him to summon the other elders or do whatever it is he needs to do to make his decision regarding the two of them.
Elder Endrain's eyes follow Aeili as she approaches. The battle tested ranger takes in every detail, including the magi stave.

He nods to Aeili to acknowledge her as she arrives before him, and listens impassively to her words. He is as still as a hunter as she speaks of the humans.

And even stiller when she speaks of the human goddess of magic.

"The Seluonal speaks in the Council of the Wood on outsiders. We will gather."

With that, the Elder turns to find the other Elders and the Seluonal, Mendel, to take counsel.

Aeili might get the feeling that Endrain's attitude is not so friendly.

Jassin, Celduil, Mendel and Nai are seen at the clearing outside the elven village having long discussion about various topic. At a distance a scared looking Sparrow in a clock two sizes bigger than her sizes observes the group.

After the discussions are over and everyone is ready to go their own way, a ranger approaches and informs Mendel that Elder Endrain wants them to gather in the "Council of the Wood". Hastily Mendel makes his way there.

While the council is in session, Aeili and Sparrow disappear into the woods for a few hours. When the priestess returns she is wearing her ceremonial Mystran robes and again accompanied by the silent woman in brown.

After a brief council among Mendel, Nai, Ithilwen and Kael, the latter is seen exchanging unusually warm pleasantries with the others and heading towards his rooms in the arcane study. Those close enough would probably be able to hear promises of a safe and timely return home.

At a late hour of the very night, the Archmage and a cowled and hooded figure following him and carrying three large, heavy-looking bags are seen moving towards the outskirts of the Dharashan glade. One of the rangers on guard duty might have caught the words "Be careful with those...they are delicate, and worth more than your very existence..." coming from the dark-clad wizard's mouth and directed towards the silent assistant.

Once outside of Dharashan grounds, they both disappeared in a brilliant white light following a few of Kael's words of power.
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans

A simple bedroll would remain untouched and unused at the base of the gnarled tree outside the village, and likewise would the blue cloaked and hooded elf not be seen, for several days after the discussion between the four elves.

When he finally does return, the slender elf would approach the outskirts of the village in plain sight and wearing a slightly wearied expression. Jassin would only linger at the outskirts long enough to lay eyes on the cloaked woman before retreating back under the shade of the gnarled tree. Once there the moon elf would string up a crude tarp between two branches and recline back and close his eyes. Shortly thereafter he would seem to find a lengthy, if somewhat fitful, reverie...

Some might notice that the small cowled figure is seen less and less frequently in the village. The person appears to prefer staying at the roots of the great tree, either lurking in the pockets of gloom or briefly basking in the little spots of light that managed to pierce the forest canopy.

Having now waited a good while for any kind of response from the council, the despondent priestess decides to retire to the Great Tree and await for word from the elves there while planning her next course of action.

The Elf Kaienrai, for once not in his polished mithril armor but instead wearing the clothing of the villagers that reside in the Misty, can be seen walking amongst the many tree top buildings as well as within the arcane tower itself, seeking the Cor'Selu'Taar.

A long meeting was held at the Council room between the Elders of the village and representatives of En Dharasha Everae. The meeting was long and all different opinions were expressed. As was revealled to the rest of the villagers the meeting was about the human visitors that could lately be seen near the village. It was decided that whoever wants to help them is free to do so, by providing food, clothes, shelter or even company to the humans.

In the mean time, the rangers are discreetly watching over the humans with their presence barely being noticed. They also go on longer patrols scouting the paths leading to the village.

Every so often, an odd warbling sound could be heard from the base of the great tree where a particular hooded human has been staying. It seems to be emanating from a curious metallic contraption in the gloved hands, resembling an iron lute studded with knobs and switches, enough to claim a Techsmith's attention for some time.

The hooded person would occasionally turn a knob or flick a switch between plucking the strings. Instead of the expected sound of a lute, a screechy riff would ensue with varying hardness, clarity, and other properties, seemingly related to what knobs and switches were manipulated. Some days, the noises are easier to listen to than others, but overall the ruckus is reminiscent of a herd of cats with metallic vocal cords in heat.

On the blessedly silent moments, the cowled person could also be seen either intently watching a tangled ball of sticks, or folding paper in seemingly arbitrary ways.

Kai would find the first mage sitting at her desk within the arcane tower. Many scrolls and books lay scattered around. Some closed, some opened. The temperature within the room, close to freezing level.

The sun elf warmage Velaris knocks and enters the first mage's study, looking quite comfortable with the temperature of the room. His voice, when he finally speaks, is cool but respectful.

"I find the cold helps these younglings keep active." he says with a chuckle. "That being said, I find myself with some free time and the subject of the ruins is quite fascinating. Perhaps there is something I can assist you with Lady First?"

He lets the first Mage know he will be in the main study room, copying scrolls for the students' use, and is at her disposal.

Bowing slightly, he exits the room, with a last smile at the ice forming in the corner.

Ithilwen looks up from her desk as she hears Velaris entering.

I agree Velaris. This temperature should keep them sharp, even though outside this room it is still somewhat too warm for my taste.'

She pauses as she looks back to the pages opened in front of her for only a moment before glancing back up to the war mage.

'With Kael out of the village for now, we are short on one loremaster. Perhaps you could help me categorize the books and scrolls we took from the library. Kael made some divisions in topic, time and importance, but we'll have to make an even preciser division of course. Prioritize in information that could help us with the advancing horde. You will find the logs in one of the warded closests at his desk close to the main study area. Soon I will be down there as well. I thank you for your help Velaris.'

She returns his bow with a nod of her head before turning her attention to her tomes and scrolls once more.
