Can be used, then, surely. After all, it's setting-appropiate even.

Not bonus tips, but a video about swearing. Quite interesting.

Personally, I wish it wasn't PG 13 (I don't even think it reaches the height of 13 in most of the world) but the list is quite entertaining!

''Half-pint'' for anything smaller than a human, as an insult.

Talas used it the other day to the amusement of his companions, it is a dwarven expression for surprise/shock/indignation that I adapted to most my characters. Dwarfs (or dwarves) say it as "Haela's silvery nipple rings!"
(also posting here to check if this complies with the PG13)

I'm not even sure where anyone got the idea from that she got that kind of ornaments!
... personally, I think "By Haela's beard!" would be far more hilarious, as most uninitiated in dwarven lore, won't know she's a woman. Could create some hilarious conversation topics
I'm uncertain about the PG13 ruling about that one, but if a DM says it's allowed I'll add it to the list.

Plenty of people like making remarks about Tymora's certain assets as an exclamation

... I take it they're commenting on her beautiful silvery eyes?

"By Sune's undergarments" is one I heared mentioned from a voicepack, still wondering what precisely it is swearing to.

I like this thread and it brings up a good soultion to this problem -- any chance this can be sticky? Some good examples here and a good guide for swearing in BG.
Props to you for writing this out!

Re: TIPs to Swearing in the FR setting
I'm looking for some other class- & race-specific curse words. Preferably from dwarven standpoints. So far, I've got:
Elf:
Knife-ears
Pixie kisser
Human:
Longshanks
(The others mentioned in this topic)
( Half ) Orc:
Pig Face
Swine
Tiefling:
Demonspawn
Ranger / Druid:
Tree hugger
Mages:
Finger wagglers
Dwarf:
Bearded gnome
Half-man
Anyone got any other race- or class-specific curse words?
