"Ye saw it too? I thought that I was only one, what do you think that happened to Hellstorms? If they caused some harm to the fishes I surely will knife one of them - My eye sight haven't yet returned quite normal." The local fisherman says to the Broken Goblet's bouncer. "Can't be sure but their new mage lass was suppose to ward their vessel, that is what I heard atleast when some officers were drinking here. Weird that none of their sailors haven't come to here after the blast..."

Some hours ago enormous light eruption was sighted on Hellstorm crew's well known Sea Wolf brigantine by many of Roaringshore's people. Almost chaotic yelling (some says that these were orders, some mutter about last paniced yells,) sound of swords being unsheated was heard -before- the blast. After it; Silence. Almost none movement and none sound have carried from Sea Wolf brigantine after the mystic incident.

A dwarf dressed in peasant clothes and a human where seen drinking far too much in roaring shore last night. The dwarf seemed to be in market for a lady of the evening, and the human seemed to be quite knowledgeable is such things. After drinking nearly enough Wyrven Whiskey to kill the Dwarf Stormed off, complaining loudly that they dare ask for coin to pay for this flavored water, without a lady on his arm.

Among the usual detritus that spawns the ever fragrant breeze of Roaringshore, the usual assortment of rats and other rodents can be seen scurrying around looking for any discarded crumb. However, one alone sits imperceptibly among the rubbish, impassively observing the goings on. This rat seems indifferent to the food around it, and although it would be hard to tell with the numbers there, but it is definitely shunned by the others.

"Interesting... The Captain's back. I can't say I'm impressed by my replacement either."

A man with his right eye scarred shut walks into the Broken Goblet and orders a bottle of rum. He clears his throat, opens up the rum and says a couple loud praises to Umberlee, echoing the whole Tavern. He then raises the rum, grabs a mighty gulp and sits himself at the nearest table, where the tells extraordinary tales of himself being confronted by the Kraken itself.

Wether they're true or not is not clear, but he seems convincing in his words.

A young woman and a hooded man have been seen frequenting the Broken Goblet and asking for someone with one eye. It is rumored they have taken a room at the inn.

Arriving by ferry late at night, a dwarf of aged appearance makes his way to The Broken Goblet. He enters the loud, smoke filled room and makes his way to the bar. Climbing upon a stool the dwarf reaches into his pouch and produces a carved wooden pipe. Stuffing it with a strong smelling herb, he looks around the room. As he reaches for the candle on the bar to light his smoke, he takes in all the exits and sizes up the crowd. The stout then lights his pipe, perfuming the area with a skunky aroma.

He turns to the barkeep and says, "I'mma think'n I'll be need'n a pint o' yer strongest! It won't be last'n long, now. So ye bes'ta keep tha' bottle close! Take yer time lad, Ole Butch'll be 'ere fer a spell."

The dwarf then turns to the crowd listening and watching for word of this Kalma or Alistair that Tami had spoken of on the beach in Ulgoth's Beard. He thought to himself, "It ne'er 'urts ta talk. Jus' gonna see wut he 'as ta say is all. Jus' be 'member'n ta be 'spectful. Ye 'eard what tha' lass said. Dun'wanna end up dance'n in'da deep."

After staying in Roaringshore for a few days, Butch makes his way back to Ulgoth's Beard. Before leaving he stops by The Broken Goblet and leave a message with Captain Pike. The message is scribbled on a small piece of parchment, written in broken common.

"Red!" Captain Pike waved the pirate to him. "A dwarf gave me this" the Innkeeper threw the letter on the desk and continued with whatever he was doing prior, not showing much interest in the Hellstorm crew's affairs.

"Ehh... alright." the Captain of the Sea Wolf picks up the letters and tries to decipher what is written.

/// I'll send you a PM soon.

A half-orc named Tohanr goes around talking to the goodly and not so-goodly folks in Roaringshore. Telling all those that would listen that the if they want payback against Balder's Gate and it's corrupt dukes and other such filthy humans they should sign up for the Red Fist Army. There are Red Fist agents around FAI much of the time, look for Dagon, O'grog or talk to almost any Orc you may happen to run into.

*Rumors spread about amongst a number of privateers (PIRATES) on the roaring shore that a strange looking vessel has been spotted. There are no humans aboard this ship. There are also no undead creatures, nor any spawn of Umberlee. Instead, the rumors and reports claim that the dwellers on board this boat. . . are Goblins.*

*Most who hear of this rumor merely shrug it off, or laugh at it. Goblin Pirates? Would anyone really believe such a thing? Still, some of the inhabitants of Roaringshore continue to utter words about such unbelievable nonsense.*

A corpse of a man has been found on the beach not far from Roaringshore. The corpse is so rotten and half-eaten, after being in the water for more than a few weeks, that any physical identification is impossible. But rumours spread like a firestorm, that the individual wears clothes very similar to that of the infamous Alistair the Red.

Rumours start popping up all over the place as to what and/or who killed him, many eyes instantly look in the direction of Kalma Hellstorm, who is known to be unforgiving towards codebreakers.

a note is pinned around the Shore, it is written in a short and direct manner, saying:
Searching for a group of Merchenaries, there is knife work to be done.
---------------------------------------------------------------
*the rest of the note is ripped off, as to some degree are all the notes of that kind. what ever opportunity was offered has passed now.*

Nihm can be seen walking near the merchants of Roaringshore. She takes a bound stack of parchments and secures them to a board along the path. At the top it reads:

This is the current inventory of Mossy's Mercantiles with a large number of recently acquired wares. All items are for sale. If you would like me to sell anything for you and add your wares to this listing let me know. For sales and any other questions, please send me a note at the Friendly Arm Inn or find me on the Trade Way.

///As always, keep it IC! If you send a private message here on the forums, please make it as though you are writing a letter and having it to delivered to her at Bentley's Friendly Arm Inn. All face to face interactions must take place in game but feel free to correspond to schedule meets. Also, please note the quantities available under the "QTY" column. Many items listed have been sold and are not available. With the large number of players not following these guidlines I will most likely be ignoring many responses to her inventory postings and only responding to those that are appropriately IC. Thanks!

[A mysterious post from Gareut/Captain Kalma Hellstorm.]

Late at the evening just when the lowest of lowlives crawl out from their hideouts in Roaringshore a sound of explosion can be heard from the general direction of Seawolf Ship. Yet again Hellstorm crew might be behind some weird act. Smoke clouds rise up from the ship and the crew seems to be busy 'kill' what ever is behind the unexpected fire. Be that drunk's luck or Umberlee's favouritism the Hellstorm Pirates continue doing what ever they are doing below the Seawolf's deck!

Could this be related to their coming skirmish?

A hooded elf woman have been asking questions about the Hellstorm Crew lately, about certain 'Grim' in particular. Not so unusual as to cause a stir, but her use of the words 'Mr. Klinga' did enough to make a rumour out of it.
