Wahoo! I'm in. And my character's portrait does look pretty bad ass.

For DM Xzar, here's a portrait for my character. It's not precise, as he doesn't have feathers on his head, but the weapon and shield are what he carries.

+1 (Same time zone too, except here in Illinois we apply DSTBroham2 wrote: I'd love to join, and it sounds crazy fun.. but my weekends are pretty random, and I would have a hard time committing to anything structured Sat-Sun. Should there be any chance of a Mon-Fri late-night Central (GMT-6) gathering of this sort, count me in.
Should any DM be duly impressed by DM_Xzar's magnificent idea and wish to indulge similarly dedicated stateside players who have to contend with jobs and families (I.e. unavailable daytime and weekends) please feel free to start a new thread. I've prepped some character concepts that I'd love to try out in this environment.

Bennie Haddle bides his time by the docks, catching small crabs to drop into the packs of unaware passerbys. He is waiting for something, he can feel that something is going to happen soon, he just doesn't know when.

Hah! Bennie Haddle was my pick for badass. But he'd better keep his grubby little hands to hisself...

It might have been simpler in the first place to say, "My character looks like a Zulu Warrior".Task wrote:...here's a portrait for my character.

Perhaps, but not everyone knows what a Zulu Warrior looks like do they?Thorsson wrote:It might have been simpler in the first place to say, "My character looks like a Zulu Warrior".Task wrote:...here's a portrait for my character.

Re: Baldur's Gate: The Party Experience
I actually made a Chultan that looks just like that a few weeks ago. I played him through about lvl 4 I think.. it seemed like people were hesitant to RP with him, so I sort of gave him up.
He was a monkey-gripped spear and shield fighter as well. Once you play through this session and if you continue to play your character I will have to bust him out to RP with you some.

Re: Baldur's Gate: The Party Experience
HAH! Was thinking of the old school PnP typical "get all the characters together " event.
Typically this would be something like "you all meet in a tavern..." but I'm having a WHOLE LOT OF TROUBLE seeing that scenario with Bheko Kaleni!

In bang shishigami's Skype PnP Desake Dacino was introduced while he was wrestling with snow wolves on the road. Maybe something similiar for Bheko? Or my infamous Majestic saying Pietro broccoli, he was introduced already some way ahead in the plot, talking to a golem incarnate.

That's why I provided the necessary information in the bio I PMed to DM Xzar. The Flaming Fist actually have a port in Chult. That's where Bheko left Chult and began his adventure in Baldur's Gate.tooley1chris wrote:HAH! Was thinking of the old school PnP typical "get all the characters together " event.
