Steve, please, no spoilers (you lucky man).
Oh damn, I am eager to watch it. But all those kids in the cinema in Christmas... This must be planned cautiously.
I'll rent the cinema to myself. Every, single, chair.

And...I saw it! Whew! Cross that off the list.

In short...the child in me was satisfied. The Force lives! 8-)

The child in me is constantly repeating: When do we watch it? When do we watch it? When do we watch it? Anxious little bastard...

Swell movie. Pretty clear tho' that they plan on doing good on their SW release promise though as it was clear that this episode was to be the foundation for the rest. Lots of questions raised, few answered,

It does indeed!!! I had high expectations for this movie, and it shattered them. A-ma-zing.

Oh yeah, Kylo Ren starts badass extraordinaire... by the end of the movie, Kylo Ren sucked. He couldn't waste a storm trooper... ...and had a big lightsabre fight with a forceless noob.

I just hate movies period, but I went in ready for some star wars. I was happy for about the first 45 minutes, until I started to realize what a stinkpile this really was. I mean, come on... a deathstar... taking down its shields... again!? Desert planet and a mos eisly catina, again? Was anthing really original in this one?

It was bad. Episode III was definitely better than this one.

Saw it.

Precitable, too reliant on nostalgia, and very repetitive (in American fashion, just supersize what was there before and repeat). Probably not that fun to watch for someone who hasn't seen the previous 6 movies. Few cool environments, that's something the 1-3 episodes at least did well. On the plus side, flashy as usual, and for me enjoyable. I liked the actors of Rey and Finn, but Poe was awful.

6/10? :)

Theory: Won't be surprised to find out Rey being the daughter of Luke, which he won't say until the right moment of drama even though he knows. Perhaps he'll open with "My father once said this to me: I'm your father", or just die and let her be informed after that fact. Or maybe Gollum will tell her? Solo and Rey are trained up in the 8th movie, and finish it in a big duel in the 9th? Really hope the rest of the movies bring in some refreshing things.

Revan could have been such a good story.

Think the 7th movie was all just one big love letter to the first trilogy, and the next two will be more original.

Days after seeing it, and after having watched the original episodes IV through IV, it is hard not to gain a negative view of the new movie, since there was ample possibility of getting it spot on right.

Lately, my biggest critique is this:

Image

How the puck did they let Ben Solo-Organa become Kylo Ren?!!?

And, what a little baby Luke Skywalker was, to get outta dodge after his nephew-student turns to the dark side and slaughters the other budding Jedi.

And what about Leia?!? There was always this unspoken part of the Force being strong in all the Skywalkers...so why did she not develop enough powers to realize her son was turning into mini-Jedi Evil?!?!?

AAAARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! Make it stop!!!!!

or he saved you from a mediocre movie. Not overly disapointed but far from enthusiastic about this. It wasnt AS Bad AS the crystal skull. But i didnt like a single actor i think.

Sorry, but that is not a reason. It's an opinion. I will judge the movie when I see it. And I would have prefer to watch without knowing a single detail from it. A detail which could be foreseeable, yes, but the movie won't be as it was imagined to be for me until that detail is revealed.
