The Moonlady of the Halls, upon her return to the building, would hear of the visitor then smile before heading upstairs to her office in order to write a formal letter of introduction and welcome to the returning clergyman.

Late this night anyone seeking to relax out on the gazebo outside the Halls might be treated to a most peculiar sight. It would seem one of the seats had been struck by a most powerful bolt of lightning, then the smoking, charred remains repeatedly bashed by a mace Whispers have it that certain Moonlady and a blonde Selunite novice had been seen speaking peacefully and laughing out there earlier before...whatever happened.

A letter arrives at the Halls of Inner Light addressed for one Lady Erza Aldren. It bears the sigil of the Watcher, Helm, pressed into ordinary red wax.

Late in the day, the following painting would be delivered to Lady Erza de Aldren in the Halls of Inner Light. An explanation for the painting would be found within a thick, sealed parchment presented to her personally.

For the next few days, any coming around the Halls would be treated to the most delectable scents imaginable filling the air. Meats, vegetables and even the heady aroma of various mead and ales would waft up to tantalize the nose.

Were any to venture into the Halls, they'd find the Moonlady, amongst other Halls members, busy at work in the festhall.

*Annaliza can be seen here and there in the Halls with a frilly white apron on and her long silken red hair tied back with a pretty bow, offering her help and looking on as the Moonmaiden and others cook their delicacies. Some may say the fire-haired priestess even asked quietly in hushed tones about learning to cook!*

*Kellan Armstrong, deacon of Lathander and tender of the grounds at the Song of the Morning quietly enters the Halls of Inner Light, keeping his eyes lowered and hands folded as he makes his humble entrance. He speaks softly to the clergy in attendance, asking for an audience with whichever of the senior clergy is willing to speak with him. When pressed for the reason, Kellan offers vague mention of undeath spreading at an alarming rate in the western wilds. The young, tentative clergyman assures the attendant cleric that he has more details to share but wishes to pass them directly to the senior staff, for now.*

The Moonpriestess, overhearing the desired cooking lessons, would smile and state the following...

"Staring next week, I will be holding cooking lessons in the midday of the week. I hope you'll come and that others will offer to teach and participate as well! I'm still trying to learn how to cook these clam rolls a special someone in my life enjoys. "

One of the mirrors in the holy baths dedicated to Sune suddenly shimmered and a tall, thin woman with long auburn hair and flowing red dress stepped through very carefully and rather unsteady on her feet from the odd experience. Managing to maintain control over the contents of her stomach, she stepped away from one of the four mirrors. Her reflection looked back at her as she passed. Much thinner and frailer, with tiny droplets of sweat on her tattooed forehead from the Mirror Walk. She wiped them away with the back of a hand then moved towards the door leading out to the fest hall. A bag was slung over her shoulder with belongings.

As she made her way to the entry hall, no doubt the guards would do a double take, as they would clearly recognize her as Adelaide van de Saer - the woman known to be a paladin of Sune who's body was not returned after fighting and defeating a great evil. Some quiet words and reassurances were given and her belongings were left in the temple, with a statement of that she would come back for them. Clearly, she had a strong feeling of needing to go somewhere. It would not be long before she did come back, no mirth present on her expression. Instead, it would look like something heavy hung over her. In prayer, by the shrine to Sune, Adelaide found some solace as her expression softened.

The Moonlady would, after hearing the news, come dashing in the doors so fast she almost flattens poor Jared, who is still stunned from seeing the Sunite return. After a quick confirmation of it being Adelaide and ensuring the woman has whatever she may need, the priestess would dash back off again, an elated look shining on her face.

Heavy boots clatter on the cobblestones leading up to the Halls of Inner Light as a dark armoured warrior approaches the holy place. He stands at the gateway to the gardens, one hand gripping tightly the hilt of his sabre. His scarred face looks up at the exquisitely crafted building, charcoal eyes revealing a storm of emotions.

After a long, pregnant pause he strides towards the building, shadowy cloak billowing behind him. Entering the Halls, looking so out of place, his gruff voice addresses Jared.

"Fair day. The name's Talas Marsak. I'm here to see Adelaide van der Saer, if she's really here. Failing here, can I see Rania Arowaven?"

And then, he would wait.

Early this morning, a framed sketching would be delivered to the Halls, addressed to Adelaide van de Saer. No note would be found, but it would be assumed that the recipient would get the meaning behind the rather...unique artwork.

Adelaide would certainly laugh at the sight of the sketch. She then writes a note for Rania, expressing a desire to speak when Rania is free.

The Sunite would still not look healthy but is kept under a watchful eye by some hen mothers, with constant reminders of needing to eat. She obliges until she possibly cannot get down another morsel of food. Each morning, she heads out with a rolling pin to meet up with the Hoarite paladin Talas Marsak in the Arena for a light training session. As she returns, she looks spent and often soaks her aching body in the baths for a while, where she also conducts special prayers - as Sunites often pray in a bath. Not once does she complain about the strain she experiences.

Throughout the days, she can be seen getting in touch with old friends and making new ones. With a kind smile present and a warmth in her expression. In quieter moments, she can be seen studying religious texts and being by the altar of Sune, in contemplative prayer. When she does not think anyone is watching, her expression looks more mournful. The warmth lacking, as if something troubles her or even wounds her.

Those who call the Halls of Inner Light their home or who often frequent the temple, may be told that Adelaide no longer holds the vows of a paladin, that she instead has been ordained as a priestess. There is no judgement held on her change of duties, for most if not all would know the reasons.

A portal opens up just outside the Halls of Inner Light not long after dawn arises. Out of it, steps a redheaded woman, wearing of all things a white tiger fur cloak and a gods awful "lucky" fishing hat and a silver haired woman, dressed in dark leathers and with two daggers right at her hips. They are seen dragging the carcass of a shark, freshly caught and killed, and which leaves a long bloody trail (along with other gore), from the arrival spot into the Halls and down into the kitchen, where the two leave it for the moment to quickly scrub up the mess left in the wake of their excursion. The redhead would return to the kitchen quickly to begin cooking the shark, and the area would fill with the savory scents of various citrus and spices. Both women agree; the redhead is going to be having the non eaten parts mounted for display. The silver haired one leaves the redhead busy cooking, taking the entrails and other inedible parts to treat the local feline populace with.
