Yes the Faithfull warrior class package is a work in progress.
I don't think the public testing version supports it (other than being view able). I am determining whether I can make it work as a multiplayer class package, or whether it needs to be a seperate base class for technical reasons.

As long as all Faithful Warriors have to be ugly and have big, smelly feet, then they're OK.

I believe this fix can be done without a fully New Spell System. It could be done today, if the Will was there.
I haven't said otherwise. I've said it can go in whenver. I can't think of a better time than with a new magic system and free-spell-repick for everyone, though.
See, that points out my worry. I mean, apparently we have a fix for at least one bug right now, but it still hasn't gone in yet.
Similarly, there is no guarantee that the new system's numerous glitches would be fixed in a timely fashion.

That's a bit cynical. The system continues to be tested and improved. While there are always bugs its unlikely they'll crash the server or drop or duplicate spell slots, like some of the current ones do.

Things need to move forward, and their will always be resistance from those who oppose change.
If it fails, roll it back. Otherwise, onward.

Though it may be cynical, Rasael, it is also being practical—updates and improvements to content are non-existent at the moment. A more fluid environment where will and action are evident on a daily/weekly...even monthly agenda, would provide the cynics with a stable basis in which to accept and support changes, especially ones so overwhelming, may I say drastic, as a a complete Spell System replacement.

So we are getting close to the end of the poll and it currently looks like all but the ranged combat changes has a decent majority "for" implementing and a slight majority for ranged changes. This begs the question, assuming the votes remain as is, "will the changes be implemented?" Are these changes approved by Luna and whoever else might hold the ultimate go/no go decision? I'm excited to see a lot of these changes, but I also question if all of Rasael's hard work will actually get the opportunity to see the light of day, or if this has all been academic.

Spells: Yes
Spells: No.

EDIT: Or the pool got changed long ago, after my vote.

They sound interesting but what I would really like is more areas and greater areas/distances between towns. Being able to go from the gate all the way to nashkel in only 6 or 7 transitions not to mention several hundred miles in a little over 2 minutes kinda makes it feel like all the towns are right next to each other. Worse with beregost to nashkel as there is only one area between them. Add some more areas in between and make traveling from town to town more of a journey then just a walk down the street. Other areas to explore in addition and new towns would also be nice. Server is nice already but I think if you did that many more people would join. As the wise man said... "If you build it, they will come".

BG is already a massive server area wise, so idk how well adding fillers will go over

Not saying to add a lot... simply add a few areas to make the towns feel further away and maybe add another village or two to compensate for the two villages which were destroyed.

if a place gets destroyed for a prolonged time its more likely to be replaced with a ruined version, not taken out
many places on the server have been destroyed and rebuilt, BG included
