Also this may only be my opinion but, I feel this thread was opened to be a can of worms.
As someone who works in Quality Control as a real-life job, not for a server. It's an annoying, time consuming job with a lot of number cranking. It's something that even in real-world function is meant to be isolated and kept away from the development department to avoid influence of outside sources.
While not the same, the purpose remains there. QC has to remain unhindered to do their job, if they are influenced then they will make bad decisions that will lessen the experience for the masses.
Now personally from what I saw, the server doesn't have anything 'added' that is insanely powerful outside of what was already capable in the OC and Kaedrin's pack. So people really should not be using the 'favoritism' card anyway, because it doesn't seem to exist.
