We have two brand new, but still not 100% populated, social media presences now:

A TVtropes page courtesy of fearknight2003: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/BGTSCC

And a subreddit that's not ready for release just yet (but had three visitors last I checked it--possibly bots or webcrawlers--not the Spiderman kind though).

Plus several new faces, so we must be doing something right?

So they removed nwn2 from steam because they were worried about people confusing it for the MMO?

They wouldn't have that issue if the MMO hadn't stolen the name -_-

Beamdog is the company that builds enhanced editions of old D&D computer games. They wanted to do an NWN 1 & 2 enhancement. WotC didn't allow it because of the MMO Neverwinter, which they have invested a lot in.

They don't want to compete with their own products.

It has nothing to do with NWN2's disappearance from Steam.
That might simply have happened because WoTC didn't want to agree with Steam's terms.
Its available on GoG after all, it seems Steam specific. Atari also has it in its webshop.

Want to help pitch the server? But don't want to write out a big advertisement on your own? You're in luck! I've prepared a marketing plug for BG:TSCC for easy copy-paste to any website, social media forum, or group of friends you care to target!:

We are a persistent, online role-playing community set in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, and on the Neverwinter Nights 2 game engine. With nearly ten years of history behind us, we are still going strong in 2016 -- and we want you to join in our adventure!

The overall goal of Baldur's Gate: The Sword Coast Chronicles (BG:TSCC) is to provide a persistent game world that everyone can play in and enjoy. From the hardened role-player to the seasoned monster slayer, we welcome everyone to our collaborative story. All that we ask is that you be kind to those around you and that you follow the server's rules.

BG:TSCC is currently made up of more than 50 volunteer staff members. This includes more than 10 developers and administrators, more than 20 Dungeon Masters, more than 5 forum moderators, and more than 15 quality control testers. Each of these groups works for free, in their spare time, out of their love of Neverwinter Nights 2, BG:TSCC, and the Forgotten Realms. Together, with our hundreds of players, we are building a persistent world that spans the Sword Coast and beyond.

We have approximately 350 exquisitely-detailed and expertly-built area maps in game for you to explore, dozens of custom classes and feats, scores of powerful magic weapons and spells -- and as we grow we continue to add new areas, better monsters, unique features, quests and more.

Please ask questions of the community at our website, bgtscc.net, if you have them, and be sure to check out our wiki for a wealth of information on the custom content of the server, its history, and lore.

Once again, we welcome you warmly, and thank you for joining us in Ed Greenwood's Forgotten Realms campaign setting: The greatest fantasy creation of our time.
