One level is enough for certain class. Because the DMs are not familair with every exploit, it is easier for them to play it safe and say no.Herisheft wrote:Taking ONE level or ONE xp, how is that creating a possibility to cheat or exploit?
Two reasonsThids wrote:I would for one like to ask why during these 6+ months that we have had the 100% RCR have critical balance issues of this server not been addressed?
Why was Expose Weakness not nerfed appropriately?
Why was divine power not nerfed?
Why were Favored Souls not toned down?
Why were bards not toned down?
Why were dragon druids left alone?
Why has nothing been done for the non-caster fighter types?
Why was evasion not brought in line?
I'm sure others can add more.
gotcha, the QC team has no idea what balance in a game like this is, or is being held back by biased individuals within it. I was just making sure.mrm3ntalist wrote:Two reasonsThids wrote:I would for one like to ask why during these 6+ months that we have had the 100% RCR have critical balance issues of this server not been addressed?

Uno - The 100% rcr was about the issues of the "big" update. It was not about fixing Thid's list
Dos - There was no need nor we wanted to spend any time to fix Thid's list.
I hope those covered you
No idea at all. We are waiting for Thids to teach us...Thids wrote:gotcha, the QC team has no idea what balance in a game like this is, or is being held back by biased individuals within it. I was just making sure.
Respectfully, you probably have no idea what is going on in QC, so please, be careful not to make assumptions. A great deal of things have been discussed, but for one good reason or another, we are not addressing those items at this time. Thank you for caring though.Thids wrote:

No reason for youThids wrote:There is literally no good reason to avoid majority of the balance issues I noted above, let alone all.
I asked a legitimate question, directly related to the 100% RCR functionality currently available for a short period of time, and is related to the proposed tokens as they could be used in the future to provide support for those who may be affected by bigger balance changes. The "QC coordinator" was pissed off at me and turned it into a personal attack.Eclypticon wrote:I can assure you QC has looked over all those things and cares quite a bit about over all balance, but this topic is about an RCR token and loosely RCRing. If you want to make a thread about how you may believe QC is not doing what is in the best interest of the community balance wise, then feel free to address those issues there.

Pissed off? Not even close. I explained to you why we didnt work on Thid's list. You might not like it but thats what it is.Thids wrote:I asked a legitimate question, directly related to the 100% RCR functionality currently available for a short period of time, and is related to the proposed tokens as they could be used in the future to provide support for those who may be affected by bigger balance changes. Hence, you can understand why I am not convinced one bit about the effectiveness of the QC team, and your assurances at this point mean very little to me.

Personally, I do not find your comments very productive. Your list is actually somewhat knowledgeable though. I'm not sure why you didn't spend your time writing an application letter to join QC rather than making needless accusations that only work to demoralize the people that try to help and have spent countless hours trying to make this a better place.Thids wrote:I asked a legitimate question, directly related to the 100% RCR functionality currently available for a short period of time, and is related to the proposed tokens as they could be used in the future to provide support for those who may be affected by bigger balance changes.
