Divinate is still broken for me

I tried several combinations yesterday RCRing several times and activating the kit at lvl3. I tried with a mix of Paladin and Fighter and each time the kit started a Divinate (-2)!

Rcr the character. Wait for the server to reset. Then make the new character.

I will try again with a P-F-P progression and activating at lvl3 for another time and see what happens... Crossing fingers...

Definetly the kit is broken when activating ti and having more classes apart from Paladin. I tried it as I said on my previous post (at lvl3 with a P-F-P progression) and it started on divinate (-1) :(

Divinate is still missing extra lv3 slot.

Had the same issue with kit progression 1, 0, 1, 2, 3........ even when advancing only in the paladin class.

So is there a glitch with the kit?
Is there a better solution than rcr'ing the character?

There seems to be an unexplained issue with withdrawing & applying RCR XP without a reset happening in between, if indeed you are all using RCR functions to try to build your cavaliers/divinates. I've not tested MrM3nt's advice but give it a go if nothing else is working for you.

Kits are Rasael's brainchild so any repairs to them happen according to his volunteer schedule.

All kits are still effectively WIP, and you take them with that caveat:

Class Kits

Introductory Words wrote:Kits are unique class pathways that lose inherent abilities of the base class in exchange for other special abilities or powers. Kits do not count as a Prestige Class (PrC) and can only be activated by using the relevant class kit feat granted at level 1. Some kits require prerequisites that can only be met at later levels. Only one kit may be used per base class at any time, although kit progression can be disabled (but not removed/undone without a full rebuild) at any time.

Kits are a work-in-progress by the BGTSCC development team and unresolved bugs may be present even in released and approved content. Please use at your own risk because XP may not be refunded in the case of game-breaking issues.

Some issues I've found with creating a Paladin-Divinate.

1. The IG description says Divinate only loses Smite Evil (while the Class Kits Forum description says it also loses Aura of Courage). When taking Divinate, Aura of Courage is not removed. Is the IG description and script incorrect, or is the Forum description incorrect, as in, should Divinate lose Aura of Courage?

1a. If Divinate should lose Aura of Courage, can the Paladin-Divinate regain Aura of Courage if they multiclass with Cleric (Good Domain)?

2. I RCR'd a character named Bob, then immediate created a new character named Ted—different names/races/etc.—without waiting for a Reset. When I took my first Divinate level, the Combat Log returned this:

Is this what M3nt was stating, that ANY attempt to combine RCR XP + Paladin-Divinate, will cause this "level dipping," irregardless of Name or whatever, and that one MUST, in all cases with Kits, follow this sequence:

1. RCR the Character, storing XP with the RCR NPC.
2. Wait for the Server to Reset.
3. Level up your Paladin-Divinate.

Cheers.

2. No, waiting for a reset does not solve/prevent that issue.

Okay, so then, if one is planning a Paladin-Divinate, you will need at least 4 Paladin levels, to compensate for this -1 level taking place, then to get to Divinate 0, then Divinate 1.
