With all the great, new areas, custom transitions, appearances, etc., what should be the Gigabyte size of the BGTSCC module in our individual Hard Drives?

Updates don’t necessarily erase old files during the process, correct? So I’m thinking at this stage it might be logical to delete the entire BGTSCC module folder, then reconnect to the BGTSCC server for a brand spanking new—and slimmer—module folder.

Good practice? Or not really necessary?

Cheers.

A very good question!
To be honest, I have no clue. But yes, there are redundant areas in your module right now.

We're working on the server split, which means we also needed to rename some areas.

When the server split is live, I will see if I can create a list of areas that can be removed.

I take that only after you have done that should we go for a fresh install.

Well, you had to redownload most of the maps for the server again after the last update, so you have something like 500-800 MB of space you can free up now.

The reason for the renaming is to prepare for the server split.

Zanniej will try to get you a complete list once the split is over and done with, but if you need those MBs sooner than later deleting all of the maps and redownloading the last update is also an option. (It's just the option that makes you redownload the whole update!)

Just wondering if with the latest download and re-organization of files, it would be good practice to delete the BGTSCC module repository on a HDD, and simply download the whole Server Package from scratch (thus possibly removing extraneous files and saving some disk space?!?).

What do you think?
