Hmm, interesting observations. Thanks for the stats and comments guys. One thing that people often seem to forget, is the penalty when using the style. I mean, -2 to AB and AC is huge. And of course you have to spend one feat in order to get it, obviously.

For a high AB 2h character, I don't think it's worth it. Could be useful on a shield wielding character.

Then 1/3 of the total attacks, rounded up, is substracted from the main hand attack schedule. NH can work with any mode : PA, CE, flurry but not with other combat styles
When I tried a character in the test module which had 5 attacks from BAB and 2 greater flurry, I still only got 4 NH attacks (with 6 BAB + 1 Whirlwind I got 5). A bit odd I thought.

The test module is outdated on that regard.

I used NH with some success on a one handed char with two shield bash attacks a round. had the AB and AC but lacked dmg with main weapon.

NH is most efficient with Shield. Otherwise, you might be better of going with PA/IPA. NH and PA/IPA is an overkill, although you could see high numbers, especially when compared with FB. The AB hit is considerable though.
