You could put pineapple on this but no-one would taste it with all that sweet, sweet VEGEMITE!
My husband (Darth Charcoal) took one look at that monstrosity he said "Oi, (C word), that's (F word)ing true blue! I'd eat the (F word) outta that!"

Whereas I'm fairly certain if I were to go lick a goat's rectum, it'd be the superior flavor. That said? Steak sandwiches with beet root are tops.

Struth, me old son. Tops. Dare say that takes the win for best presentation of Straya I've seen in a good ways since a curried egg sanger or a snagger in a bag. Champion.

Proof positive you have never, in your life, eaten Vegemite.

Real Pizzas don't have Pineapple, Vegemite or other weird and wonderful additions. There are various dough-based meals, masquerading as pizza, served in some benighted countries, no doubt. But they damn well ain't pizzas!

I've know vegemite is nasty ... however, as an Aussie, we pretty much grow up on it and think it's awesome. I seem to recall it was originally made from the crap leftover after the beer-brewing process, not certain about that though. I definitely get a kick out of watching non-Australians try it though, especially if they have a whole spoonful!

it is made from the dregs of the beer-brewing process, yes. The leftover yeast detritus is actually extremely nutritious and high in protein, but you need the secret recipe to make it work. It was developed specifically for human consumption by chemist and food technologist Cyril Callister in the early 1920s after supplies of Marmite from England were cut off during WWI. He also worked with a patent by James L. Kraft to develop what we call in Oz plastic (processed) cheese. Awesome guy

Yeah it's absolutely nasty but I have utterly no idea how you get that it's sweet, in any way size shape or form. Whatever you were given was not Vegemite if that's what you thought of it.
