A man wearing simple, brown robes passed the gates of Greenest. Pulling an old, wooden cart - patched with planks here and there - does not seem like a task a man with humble, lean body might perform easily - but somehow he managed to bring the supplies to villagers. Boxes and small pouches of herbs, bottles and vials of odorous potions (similar to those usually used by clerics to help with poisonings) tinkled on the cart while the man was chaotically moving around looking for a suitable place. Finally he set the cart close to the fire camp near the center of the village. A few villagers joined him at the fireplace. While he was talking about his journey along River Chiontar, about wolves marauding at night, about the catfish he caught (and how to prepare it with garlic and honey) and so on, and so forth, curious kids browsed through the goods (fortunately they didn't break anything).

Standing upon the catwalk outside, Jackard would see over the inner wall and on toward the fire. Watching the commotion, he is approached by a company-man with a quick shout, "That's that Ilmateri, Jack. He's arrived."

With a satisfied nod and a genuine smile, Jackard steps down from the catwalk to find Albert himself and welcome him to the village of Greenest.

With the Rocky Creek Company's headquarters now established, one of their caravan guardsmen takes up his new post in Greenest, expecting to find a more settled career ahead. But his very first night on watch was disrupted as Baleful Spiders began to swarm along the Uldoon Trail.

He and two adventurers, Sigrid Ravndottir and Sel, set out to exterminate the spiders and find their source. Tragically, the bodies of lost merchants were discovered, having been used in a grizzly sacrifice to Lolth. The corpses had been returned to the temple of Chauntea for cleansing and burial rites, however both the Greenest Militia and the Rocky Creek company is sure to be on high alert the coming days.

A towering woman in adamantine fullplate armor can be seen on the Uldoon trail, beating back gnoll, ogrillon, and bandit alike with an axe and towershield. The woman only seems to stop to observe a collection of ruins on the rise to the northwest of Greenest, taking a few moments to sketch the area before continuing with her battle against the area's threats.

A certain pumpkin hatted bard can be spotted riding caravans back and forth along the trail. Rumor would place that new export of fabrics from Rocky Creek Trade and its trading partners have arrived. This should help further their business associate known as Jonah to help establish a better foothold in the designing community in the South.

On the night of 7 Kythorn, many who stopped by the Greenest Inn would observe a tall, crimson-haired woman in full plate armor conversing with a priest of Hoar over a number of topics, including politics, before the two parted ways with a shake of their hands as a declaration of a new alliance between House Waynn and the newly forming Church of Hoar.

Along the Uldoon Trail and near the hamlet of Greenest, one might spot a few more critters than usual around; deer, boars, rabbits and the like, all of then sporting new-healed scars to some degree. There seems to be an understanding among the locals that these newcomers are not for hunting, and they might warn travelers and adventurers against harming those animals as they are under the protection of the Druid of Greenest. It's expected the convalescing creatures will be returned to their old home soon or relocated to a new habitat, anyway.

At least one trapper appears to have either not received the news or ignored it, as their snares do not discriminate between the native and refugee fauna. In either regard, it does not seem out of spite or malice as the loses are more in line with sustenance hunting for a small group. While the trapper is clearly skilled, using primarily snares and spikes along with some residual baleful energies, they are clearly not as apt at concealing the evidence of their passage and could be traced to the tavern on the outskirts of Greenest.

The following day a small collection of dismantled traps and two of the creatures they had killed are left by the tavern. A glade had been cleared of the snares and traps, warded now with patches of entangling vines and dense vegetation. Hunter snares left elsewhere on the Uldoon Trail have apparently been left alone.

Another day passes, before in apparent rebuttal a number of the wards are quelled and their vegetation returned to the natural state. Fauna that remain within the boundary of the glade are left untouched, but a single wooden trap is lain within a particularly dense area of the entangling vines well away from where it might be idly discovered.

The device is nonfunctional, having been one of the previous disassembled deliveries, and has found new utility as a crude but accurate merchant's scale with a small placard. Brushed on in ink that resists water and weather are the words "For your consideration" and marked with a foreign lotus flower, while the scale is perfectly balanced while holding an out-of-season hazelnut on each arm. One seed is blackened with rot and necrosis, the other sprouts with both a green shoot and a yellowed fungal bloom.

This too is returned as-is to the tavern

that sure stride with a bit of that cocky gait carries the Emerald Archer through the roads, years of wagon trained leaving a almost never ending depression on the road.

Early morning as the sun starts to steal the few from plants. He whistled a song as he walks down the road longbow in hand. Occasionally his keen eye would spot a Flind or an Ogrekind lurking in the shadows of the trees seeking to ambush any being in this road. But today it happen to be the Order of the Radiant Heart’s very own archer. Quick bursts of arrows. Arrows kissed with arcane properties a family tradition in enhanced archery paying off as these seemingly ordinary arrows delivered an arcane enhanced punch with every hit. The creatures finished off before the whistling ranger continued down the tall grass fields heading south towards Naskhel and the Foothills.

Maybe if he was lucky he’d run into some of the Brothers from the Amnish Charter of the Order of the Radiant Heart.

An elven huntress is spotted outside of Greenest shooting at wolves and rabbits, after killing a handful of them she skins them and takes the meat to cook a few travelling rations, hunting as much to feed herself for a couple of days, she offers one or two cooked pieces of meat for sale, only one gold per piece.

She camps near the waterfall out of town and leaves the camp to fish or hunt more.
