"Aye, and as long as you and your boys bring me in a steady supply. There is much more where that came from I assure you."

DM Arrakeen wrote:"Just as everyone else, ye have yet to hear my terms," Mag looked from Morgan to Kordren and back. "I'm not saying no, but before I give ye my blessing, there're details that must be discussed. But right now ain't the best time for that. Let's focus on the more pressing matters."
Zeland wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 12:01 am Not long after, an armored man would make his way to the bar. He would offer a nod to Mags and then to Morgan. "Greetings. Can I get a double shot of Wyvern." he slides some coin across the bar to Mags and awaits his drink.
DM Arrakeen wrote:The town's leader returned the nod, grabbed a cup that seemed almost clean and poured the man the requested drink.
Morgan would nod to zeland "There is just one more to arrive then we will have everyone assembled" She takes off an amulet and speaks into it "Your presence is required in the tavern"

Moments later a man clad in black fullplate with golden accents enters the tavern The man looks about those gathered near the bar he offers each a nod before speaking Shouldn't we take these matters to a more private setting?

The armored man would return the nod to Greil and give a salute with his cup before downing the rest of his drink. "Aye." He places his cup back onto the bar and looks to Mags.

The door to the inn slowly opens to allow one person entry. She closes the door behind her with a bit more care than the wood probably deserves. Armored boots announce each step as she ascends to the main floor. Adorned with skirted heavy armor, a thick black cloak bearing the insignia of the Ebon Blades, and a distinguishing eye-patch; a familiar face in Soubar returns. With weary steps she walks up to the bar and orders a drink from Mag. Regardless of whomever's in the tavern, it's clear the first and foremost thing on her mind is getting a drink in her before doing anything.

As she pays for her drink, she hands Mag a simple slip of paper for the bartender to read. With that, Brigitte Degenhardt takes a moment to just relax and absorb the scents and atmosphere of her home.

Brigitte gives Greil a warm smile; made more radiant by her Aasimar heritage. She salutes the Baron with her glass, then returns to her musings; leaving the Baron, Blackrose, and others to go about their business. Her body language is clear; she's not trying to be involved.

Mag beckoned Bertha over and exchanged a few hushed words with the young barmaid before leaving her in charge. On the way to the kitchen, the aging woman glanced at the hin and the man in the booth.

Brigitte returns the nod, and casually watches the group enter the kitchens. She then resumes her drinking as she slowly sheds the burdens of the road. With her second drink ordered, Brigitte finally spares time to look around the tavern. More to herself than anyone else, she says one thing quiet, but not so quiet as to be unheard:

"It's good to be home."

"Indeed, as I said. What you bring me is what I pay you for. What you yourself decide to bring me if up to you depending on how much your looking to earn for your troubles." "I'm not asking for hit-men, there are no targets. "And I care not how you produce what I want."

A few locals from soubar might have run into the town in fear as the night grew dark. The locals soon speaking of two large armies of the undead facing off against one another in a non hostile manner. The locals might have recalled a small hin covered in necrotic magic and a women dressed in all black in the middle of the scene. The two armies stood there for some time scaring off local and traveling caravan a-like while the two necromancers spoke quietly. As the dawn soon brought upon lathanders light the two armies broke off into different directions as their leaders separated - the hin's army marching south.

As word, deed, and presence of the hin necromancer continues to spread, some of the local mercenaries begin to take umbrage to the idea that someone so freely trading in dead bodies is roaming unchecked. But she is a difficult one to catch.

Sergeant Dunn of the Ebon Blade Company returns to Soubar from a recent joint scouting expedition behind enemy lines. Upon hearing, and witnessing, the brazen movements and flaunting of undeath that this necromancer who calls her self Kas, he starts to dig further.

Rumors and postings that reach nefarious ears willing to trade in dead bodies, parts, and corpses also catch his attention. After several attempts to run off the hin by force aren't successful, he changes up his tactic.

At random times throughout the day, when he's not working at the Ebon Blade warfront, which directly overlooks the Boareskyr Bridge front isn't demanding his direct attention, he's watching for signs of those who come and go from the Winding Way Tavern inside of Soubar, or the local market area, with grizzly remains to trade.

In engaging in such he is sure to here of a recent battle at the Winding Way where a mixed bag of adventuring citizens clashed with a goblin raid which they destroyed. Not long after a small procession of wagons which had been lurking nearby appeared to remove the remains to a designated part of the Fields of the Dead. There work appeared to be delayed a while (the dm gave up after crashing 7 times) but when things were safer and quieter they returned and removed the remains from the battlefield for disposal. A separate wagon for heroic defenders remained empty on this occasion.
