Re: The Keepers of The Elder Circle Roleplay
*Twice now, since receiving Galen'ael's directive to patrol the Cloakwood, Calen has trod there.
*In the eastern Cloakwood, Calen finds a tribe of roaming lizardmen who are fiercely territorial. They attack quickly, ruthlessly, and in numbers. There are those with divine magic amongst them, perhaps shamans.
*In the eastern Cloakwood, Calen finds a cave mouth which he knows to be an old mine of some sort containing reckless bugbears and even more reckless and large bug-like creatures with mind-altering abiliities from previous treks there.
*In the central Cloakwood encounters monstrous spiders who are also territorial. They attack viciously and appear to have a poisonous bite, as Tsali ( Calen's wolf) was affected by such.
*The caves that Calen finds in this area contain a group of strange horrid looking females who are quite strong in battle with some of them using arcane spells. Amongst them also walk large, strong, great sword wielding males who look similar to the females, yet are different, with almost distorted human features. Calen is forced to retreat from these as they proved to strong for him.
*In the northeastern Cloakwood, Calen finds even more spiders. These are even larger than those in the central Cloakwood, black in color, and much more fiercer. They forced Calen and Tsali to retreat as well, or face certain death.
*Calen includes all these details in a note, written in flowing elven. He places this letter in a water-proof pouch and caches (hides) the pouch in the tree near the Shrine of Mielikki. (OOC: The same tree that the white owl and the panther were in on previous occasions.)

*a group of starlings deliver the same note to only all the Ranger Seekers*
Seekers,
Master Silverleaf, Warden of the Lady,
Has returned to Us. I will continue to assist him in the tasks of the Ranger Seekers under his direction. Buy his orders, when I feel you have demonstrated enough wisdom, you will proceed to Him for the remainder of the Testing. For he truly knows the will and wisdom of the Lady and I of the Father. Each as important as the other, but the Lady's wisdom is his to bestow by deed and standing in the eyes of the Circle. Good luck to you all.
The Druidic Seekers will continue to be overseen by myself, for now this is young Callen.
-Galen'ael, Protector of the Circle.

*a note is left for Silverleaf upon the wall for all to see*
Warden,
I am pleased to pass on to your tutlege Seeker Raymond. He has completed all the tasks I have asked of him, demostrating wisdom and honor and skill. His actions, witnessed directly by myself and in my own opinion, show all that is good in those that serve the Lady and the Circle and the Land as our Tenets dictate.
He has risen beyond the faults I observed in him when we began and has the shown the propensity to think before he acts and learn from his mistakes. I state firmly and without hesitation that I would be honored to serve along side him and that Lady Eleanor could not have a better warden to protect her and their coming child.
We it up to I, I would give him the Oath now. However, the Rangers are under your charge and you will have more to teach him of the Ladies ways than I on his Path to the Grove. He has my upmost confidence and trust.
I hope he learns of what you have to teach. He has learned from me and I have learned much from him as well.
Sincerely,
Protector Galen'ael.

*After reading Galen'ael's note, which has been delivered to him by this winged messenger, he has to smile slightly. Archer,
Eleanor has told me of your interest, I shall find you and we can speak at your leisure. I have been busy, my apologies. If you wish to become a Seeker, return a note to me with this starling. Then, when we meet we can speak more of things or begin....as you would choose.
--Galen'ael.
Galen'ael,
There is no need to apologize, since you did not promise me anything. Yes, I had the pleasure to talk to Eleanor and was impressed by her open-mindedness, kindness and tolerance regarding my personal views. I am looking forward to a meeting with you and am also very interested in your philosophy.
With kind regards,

Brothers and Sisters,
I have meant with the Dukes and have been recoginized as the Ambassador to the City of Baldurs Gate. The meeting went well and many of the other factions were present. I will be compiling a report shortly on all that occured.
The Dukes support the idea of forming a Council in a base way and will call more meetings to iron out the details and further discuss it. I shall begin formalizing some of my ideas....I have much to do

Callen,
You do well and I am happy with your progress. You show iniative and tact. I would hear of your progress regarding your first task; the meeting of two members of the Circle. Also, meet and travel with your fellow Seekers and learn of them as well. A new task I have for you, you are to meet with Protector Eleanor and learn her philosophy of the way she approaches her work in the Grove and report to me your impressions of her answer. Learn from her and heed her wisdom. There is strenth in differences. I shall make arrangements to meet you soon.

The elf was saddened, but also happy to be home. The elf kneels down in front of the shrine and prays. There is a small lake with falls near the shrine and Elohir recognizes it as the shrine between Beregost and the Gate*. Upon waking, Elohir knows he must seek out Daelthrein.

*Kiana stalks the place where Eleanor and Raymond make their home...he drops a note at his feet, sealed, with Galen'ael's personal Clan Symbol upon it, the note reads*
Raymond ((notice lack of formal seeker title)),
I have a matter that I require your help with. Please inquire with those you know for information, where abouts, race, vocation and so on of a being named Xation. I know little else of him.
I will speak with you of it next I see you. It personal and important, and NOT business of the Grove. Please keep it as such and discretion is of the utmost importance.

(elven) Galen'ael,
I will seek out Protector Eleanor at first opportunity.
I have met one member of the Grove, and elven maiden by the name of Andreava Windsong. She was much skilled in the circles of druidic power and claimed to be an acorn of the Leaflord Rillifane Rallathil. She accompanied me on the road for a while, then we went our separate ways.
I have met two other Seekers, a pair of elven siblings, Amalie and her brother. They showed great prowess in their craft. Amalie walks with a black panther and seems to tread the path of the ranger. The pair were quite formidable in battle and complemented each other's skills quite well.
I trust the Oakfather casts his shade across your path.
I look forward to our next meeting.
In the forest way,
Calen Lasgallen

Callen,
Meeting with Eleanor in the manner I spoke will suffice for the completion of your 1st and 3rd task, as you have not previously meant her. Learn of her wisdom and travel with her as you did Lady Windsong. Upon completion of these, we shall meet and discuss your progress. Pay attention to your skills in the way of those whose order you cherish from Our home in the High Forrest, for when we meet I may begin to test your abilities as well, if your actions and attention to your tasks so warrants. You begin to walk the forest path as the Ancient One would have us do. Continue to do so and you shall do well I trust.
Regards,
Protector Galen’ael.

Eleanor leaves note at grove Circle for all members and Seekers to see, requesting assistance of the rangers to be vigilant, do their 'bit' to track and search, helping the Fist catch this criminal
"The perpetrator wore dark cowl had white beared...a human male. She told me he laughed at her, told her his name ..one Raldring Lathenfallen...then bid her run...she ran...he chased, slowed her by raining arrows to her back then finished her off with his sword and left her for dead on the road near the gnoll stronghold. The victim's name is..Alarice...Alarice Lharythlin, an elf."

*Galen wonders in and reads the note, then mumbles to himself*
Aye, tis about time someone took it too them. We talk to much as it is, more action is needed. Darkness threatens the Land and the others wonder about as if it's Faire Day and they haven't a care in the world...
Well done Baalio, if it shall take Dwarven common sense to make the others see, then so be it.
Many will soon realize my efforts are more torward coordination then useless words........
