Does he crash by himself or require another player/party member?

And you think only other players in a party with the shifter would crash?
It can be both. He can crash, or other party members can crash. I will say, whomever is not the shifter, crashes a lot more than who is the shifter.

He does not crash by himself. I had to be in party with him every time.

Do you have to be in the same zone? Is being in a party a requirement for the shifter to crash?

We were indeed in the same zone on each occurance and had to be in party as well for him to crash, not just me.

I've temporarily disabled the pc heartbeat to see if it is the cause of these crashes. People who have crashes, please test and report back here if you still have crashing issues as soon as possible so that we can turn the heartbeat back on, as it affects many server functions.

I just went 9 for 9 successful shifts to Epic Elemental Form (Water). I was unable to do this last time I tested my PC Shifter (I crashed on the 7th attempt). I was solo in Beregost, testing.

I can try again after Rest Timer. But...would I jinx it to say looking good?!!?? <:D

Can some other people also test out their Shifters or Druids using Epic Elemental Shape?

Well...bummer.

I logged my Shifter Panlos into Server 2, and went up to the High Moor map before I did anything, Rested, then clicked to shift to Epic Elemental Shape...and crashed to desktop.

BUMMER!

EDIT: I'm just hoping that, for some reason, the heartbeat disabling was only on Server 1.

Script changes affect both servers.

Tried my epic elem. shape druid today (on S2 UD).

Still crashing everytime, but as I removed all my equipped items it worked.

So I tested it with only a single item equipped.

So far I could narrow the crashing down to having equipped one of these items: a monk belt or the hawkfeather armor or a spidersilk padded armor.

Same issue with my shifter-toon.

having any armor or any belt equipped causes the epic elem. shape to crash.

It’s interesting that you mention this, because I reported to Dae that I noticed the icon image for my shifters belt disappearing in the Inventory GUI, even though it was still calculating being worn. The belt was not showing up in the inventory storage either.

Only relogging would have the belt icon reappear in the Inventory GUI.

It's any belt at all? Or specifically monk belts?

Hello!

Tried out some testing with armor/belt or no armor/belt.

Logged into High Moor map (which was the last map in which my shifter crashed).
1. Rested. Removed armor and belt. Shifted using epic Elemental Shape feat 9 times = no crash.
2. Rested. Again, shifted using Epic Elemental Shape feat 9 times = no crash.
3. Rested. Added armor (Tiger Skin Armor). Shifted using Epic Elemental Shape feat 9 times = no crash.
4. Rested. Removed armor, added belt (Belt of Growth). Shifted using Epic Elemental Shape feat 9 times = no crash.
5. Rested. Added armor w/ already equipped belt. Shifted using Epic Elemental Shape feat 9 times = no crash.

So...I don't know what to say. I can't get my shifter to crash in the last 2 days.

Can anyone else confirm that using Epic Elemental Shape is still crashing out their PC/game??
