As dusk drew to its close on the 16th eve of Eleasias, 1353 DR, the Brow Star, known amongst astrological and arcane circles as Mystra's Star, shone through misty, high altitude stratocirrus cloud cover across the length and breadth of Faerun with an eerie azure halo.

Rumours abound as to the meaning of the sign, but many human astrologers and soothsayers seem to come to the same conclusion about it: the soul of one of Mystra's highly esteemed servants has passed that evening into the Goddess' eternal embrace.

Elven diviners, arcanists and servants of Sehanine Moonbow would undoubtedly perceive the significance of the misty, partially concealed twilight sky, that this elven servant was being ushered into the beyond by her other goddess, The Luminous Cloud.

A sun elf in green and orange robes could be seen briefly entering the village- with a very clear look of annoyance, following her a pseododragon. Carrying a folded parchment, she leaves it in the village's tavern, and then leaves as quickly as she has entered.

In the earliest morning hours of the 8th of Deepwinter, two elves came to the village - Dulinnor Starsong and Sirion Te'dwa to those who would know - carrying the remains of an old sun elf known to the villagers as Qorthon Faerondar. He was brought to the temple and cleaned, and a priest was sought to tend to funeral rites.

In the following hours some outsiders came with news and questions of an encounter and a chase that took place north of the woods.

A somber silver elf clad in the priestly accoutrements of Shevarash's faith is rumored to have temporarily taken up caretaker duties at the village's shrine. If approached, he introduces himself as traitorbane Syldrahel and urges others who have taken up the Black Archer's calling to contact him in Doron Amar where he will be sojourning for a fortnight before continuing his journey further north.

A gold elf wearing purple cloak and silver chainshirt may be seen appearing around the village called Doron Amar. She's short with anyone approaching her and the only thing she seeks is the rumoured priest of Shevarash that has taken residence within the village for the time being.
