Ok now that steve actually pmed me about it, let me be clear for everyone else as well. The quote that steve refers to, has nothing to do about me not being nice to Rhifox. I am 100% certain that Rhifox knows exactly what he/she is doing. I will add to this by saying that this domain rework is a great change that enhances gameplay not only regarding mechanics, but RP as well without creating something OP, at least at first glance. One can tell that Rhifox put a lot of work on this and I am looking forward to try it when it is implemented.
I am also certain- he can correct me on this- that Rhifox sees no reason why the regular mords cannot be added to a domain.
This is something that "confuses" me at times. When someone puts a lot of work on something, knows exactly what is doing and have some say "Oh You cannot add this, it is too powerful" and when you ask why, you get no real answer, no reason why it is too powerful.
Now I can give examples of other changes/additions that are too powerful, yet no one has a problem with it, but THEN i wouldn't have been nice

The core ruleset of nwn2 is 3.5, sure, but abilities, spells and feats can be modified however they need to be. After all, a lot of things are already homebrewed on this server to either be fairer or make more sense.

I don't know.
Anyway, on Renewal, I've gone ahead and replaced Stone to Flesh with Rejuvenation Cocoon and created the Freedom spell as Renewal's 9th level spell. As in pnp, it functions as FoM + Mind Blank + Stone to Flesh which lasts for 6 sec / CL. I can technically use this for Healing domain's capstone spell, too, if there are no better alternatives.
You're a trooper!

I knew that these improvements to domains would be followed by much wailing and gnashing of teeth by the nerfbots demanding more cleric nerfs, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

I understand the concerns, I just don't agree with them (especially since the concerns are mainly over pvp, which we are supposed to 'not balance for'). And I generally consider IC to be my primary focus, so priests of the gods of magic
not having mords (and its RP function of being able to disenchant magical items and destroy artifacts) feels way more problematic to me than the mechanical balance interactions. But I try to listen to people and accommodate their concerns, hence why mords was scaled back from other domains to just Magic, and then adjusted downwards from that to now be just a slightly weaker Mord (dispel, but no breach or SR reduction). This version is more accurate to pnp anyway.
Anyway, here's hoping everyone enjoys this when it comes out! Should be very soon now.

In PnP, the divine champion must have a patron deity, but in NwW2 I don't think that requirement applies, even though it should. Is this restriction on fiends based on ooc or ic factors? I admit that I don't know a lot about their lore.
Mostly OOC. There is enough IC lore to support archfiend clerics in FR, but DMs believe that the various unique circumstances of archfiend clerics are such that we do not want to have players able to play them.
Thank you for your hard work; the update looks awesome!
Can I ask what the reasoning behind not allowing archfiend clerics? It's something that folks have been requesting for years, and several 'fiendish' powers can already have clerics (Gargauth, Lolth, Ghaunadaur/Juiblex). Is this something that could potentially be revisited?

Will these feats work when unarmored? Like for monks?

This is out of my hands. It's a question for the DM team.

Well, we basically expect all the new features to go in on August 1, since it's the appointed date of 100% RcR ending. I'm not sure if that RcR change requires server update, but, i believe, update will happen on august 1 or few days after that date (depending on Dev availability to update server and make sure no stuff is left behind accidentally). Things can change, obviously

The 100% RCR end date has been moved to August 15. Just mentioning it that so that we can all get on the same page and not create any confusion
