An event of small importance occurred a few days ago....

The blue-clothed man peddling gems in the Eastern District vacated his usual spot and made a circuitous route through the Gate, walking into just inside the Harbor District, visiting the Merchant's League there, then, returning to the East, however, detouring his full return by stopping at the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange office.

After entering the establishment, the blue-clothed man resumed his route back to his peddler's stool, a rather neutral appearance upon his face.

Days after this occurrence, a messenger found the blue-clothed man upon his peddler's stool, and from the passing of the message, the peddler of gems appeared to gain an obvious and pleased look, if only for short time. Some hours after the message deliver, the blue-clothed man was seen returning to the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange office, a more or less determined look upon his face.

Upon Finishing his meeting in Duchal Court and his failure to find an architect im Soubar. Greil would begin to seek one out in Baldur's Gate, asking merchants, locals and dock workers of any they may know. After many hours the search would finally bear fruit Greil would speak to the architect telling him the plans for the fort and where he would like it to be located.

It felt as if the sun stood still that afternoon, untouched by clouds, beaming its warmth into the busy market below. Amongst the humming din and frenetic bustle of the peddlers, the beggars, and shoppers there stood a man unmoved. An imposing figure grasping a staff of obvious arcane power, its dark twisted wood engraved with esoteric symbols, an unnaturally bright gem clasped in its wooden claws. Dressed in light-weight black silken robes of southern make, adorned with black furs and silver clasps, a silver circlet rested on his bald crown shining brightly in the sun. His brow furrowed in line with his beak-like crooked nose, his sunken eyes shaded from the noon-time sun. As the market goers moved all about him, he stood. Unmoved.

He stood that way for nearing an hour. Standing there. Staring.

If one would look, they may find that his gaze appeared firmly held on the door of the Pathfinder’s Hall, home of the Order of Lions.

Fingal arrives late at night at the docks of Baldurs Gate late that night, his mood really good he walks with lightness in his step and a smile on his lips, he quickly gets to the outdoor tavern in the gate district where he meets Rose, after a few moments of talking he sits down with her and has a drink. He explains to her about his plans for an outdoor stage within the city, after some conversing they both get up and move towards the Palace District to scout for locations.

A Thayan Knight and a runner from the Thayan Enclave have been assigned to both the North and East Gates of Baldur's Gate, as if awaiting the arrival of a very important person.

A local Ilmatari priest, Ameris, can be seen in the harbour district, speaking with various stevedores, teamsters and other warehouse workers with regards to an incoming shipment. He appears to be attempting to hire warehouse space urgently. This is successful, although it appears the priest has entered a commercial arrangement, rather than received charity.

The graceful triple-masted caravella redonda, the Whistling Wanderess was sighted after nearly a month's absence in the harbour of Baldur's Gate once more. Although the ship remains in harbour for now, a large amount of her crew was seen disembarking using rowboats.

A Thayan battalion march south of Baldur's Gate led by the Commander Vyacheslav himself. Six men carry an empty golden sarcophagus on their shoulders. They go south beyond Nashkel into the mountains.

On returning to Baldur's Gate, the procession march in grim silence into the Enclave. The golden sarcophagus is removed into the heights of the tower.

Boris Vyacheslav is henceforth seen no more in the purple cape that distinguishes him from the rest of the Knights as their Commander. His face and scalp go unshaven - the sign of a man debased and brought low within the Mulanese culture. Boris is rumoured to be seen in the dockside gymnasium at early hours of the morning, moving tremendous weights - an exertion in vain that cannot shift the true burden of shame and guilt from his broadest of shoulders.

A group of individuals is seen gathering near the berth of the Whistling Wanderess in order to unload a large number of sacks of grain. They are of diverse callings, a collection of local knights, adventurers, holy men and women, businessmen and women and rangers. Under the supervision of Captain Hoihe the sacks are placed dockside, and then by muscle power and hand carts moved into a warehouse in the docks district. The workers are clearly not professional, although their hearts are on the right place.

Later, heavier unloading of large crates is done by better trained workers in the pay of the Darius Holding Company, these being taken to the same location.

Several posters are put up in Cities like baldurs gate, beregost, Nashkel, Friendly arms in, Gullykin and the nearby temple dedicated to Kossuth.

We seek a priest or someone who's faith is enough to wield his splendor, your services are needed. If this interests you and you meet the criteria, then do seek out Melvor Whitewater and the services and payment will be discussed. Be aware that some details will be kept a secret, since Melvor is only the middleman.

Some might have seen Melvor put up these posters.

Rumours of a disturbance at the Friendly Arm Inn campfire circulates.

Several adventurers went to investigate the commotion finding an eerie looking altar, a tent full of skulls and what was left of what seemed to be a summoning circle with creeping auras.

On further questioning; it would seem a couple of those adventurers caught sight of a man in a skull mask.

Members of the Thayan Enclave of Baldur's Gate have been privately grieving the death of their Khazark Kahanak Habdilof.

Yesterday, a funeral ceremony was held in the Enclave, open to the public by invitation only. Kahanak's golden sarcophagus will now be returned to Thay where a following ceremony will be held in the homeland. Gestar Seteneptra Ma'u is said to be escorting the body back to Thay personally, within company of the Knight-Commander Boris Vyacheslav, and she will be closing the Enclave to any business for the days of her absence.
