Now a semi-regular visitor of Candlekeep, the red-haired druid once more submits an authoral work to the Public Library. Titled "Esoteric Arts, Magic in Gems and Runes", it summarises her research on the topic. To any that might talk to her, she's soft-spoken and gentle, and seems to spend her time reading other works as well as writing her own.

The Guide-gnome begins spending a significant amount of time in the library. He makes sure to take care of all his Guide duties of course, but every other free moment is spent reading books from all over the library, rather than outside where he is otherwise often found. The guards in the lobby are instructed to notify him if any visitor wishes to speak with him.

An elf wizard in a green robe arrives in the Library. They introduce themselves as Ereval, a scholar formerly of Silverymoon, and request an audience with the Guide to discuss a submission as well as the possibility of joining the Avowed.
In the meantime, they peruse the public collection.

A New Acolyte!

A blue-haired moon elf visited the Guide-gnome of Candlekeep today. The two had a conversation in the Guide's office for a couple of hours, then went for a brief tour of the keep.

Later, the Guide-gnome announces a new Acolyte among the ranks of Candlekeep: Ereval Rynn!

A pair of white-haired Moon Elves were spotted crossing the natural bridge to Candlekeep on one of the last days of Tarsakh. They spent some time admiring the fortifications and getting acquainted with the laws of the keep. They chatted frequently in a foreign tongue, although a perceptive witness could notice a moment of great confusion following a certain passage, during which the two elves began looking with concern at their own garments. Those familiar with the laws of Candlekeep might deduce that the concern could be related to their clothes being of very light pastel yellow and white dyes.

After entering, the two elves visited some of the ancillary facilities and services provided by the Keep, but, as it was getting late and there appeared to be no one around to guide them properly, they decided to take a room at the inn and rest before visiting the main library itself.

A thirst for knowledge?

For the past ten days, Berrin Bennett had become a familiar sight within the walls of Candlekeep. Each morning, the eccentrically dressed man can be seen entering into the great library's private archive, only to emerge again long after sunset to retire at the inn.

For quite some time now, a notable scribe has been frequenting the Hall of Lore, moving through various available materials that line the shelves, and offering writing services, tutoring of various subjects from mundane to magic.

Mostly having kept to themselves, or their own clients for their durations, a surprise likely came when a well worded letter requesting a meeting with the Guide was left in the box, signed fancily by one Theren Moonbrook.

A letter is left expressing an interest in membership and a meeting with the guide if an opening is available from a 'Marona Bloodhoof', a learning wizard. A message can be left for her at the Friendly Arm Inn.
