Liberation.

A young girl who disappeared several days ago has miraculously escaped her captivity.
She has returned alive and almost unharmed, and many truths about containment were pouring from her lips.

A moon after, the girl returned to the Woods.
It was a fatal mistake.

A party of three ventured out from Soubar into the northern wilds to hunt during the new moon. It was an eclectic group composed of an elf pale as moonlight, another dark as the night, and a human dressed in furs and skulls both animal and human. They would return some hours later bloodied and successful, with the carcasses of two deer stags in toe. Curiously, they bore no bows nor spears nor any other weapons with them, having relied on other means to take down their prey.

It is rumored that Blackrose's Heavy Cavalry has be temporally pulled out of Thundars ride, along with one of the three Mercenary companies allied and contracted to the Order of the Blackrose. It is said they are to Reinforce the forces fortified at Boareskyre bridge until the Yanuti problem is dealt with.

The small garrison at the outpost within Thundars ride assisted by the Two remaining mercenary companies continue to patrol the Tradeways through Thundars ride keeping the roads clear.

Attack on the Sister.

The famous caretaker of Ilmater was recently attacked in the woods east of Baldur's Gate.
With the help of a young knight of Torm, the woman was miraculously rescued.

A crowd of armed residents of Baldur's Gate has given the orcish hunter a fight.
They were driven away, but they held the orc enough for the injured duo to escape.

It's rumored that this time the orc wasn't alone.
An indistinguishable black figure was by his side.

The Yuan-ti forces crumble and scatter to the winds, their broodmothers slain in a two-pronged attack between the Blackrose, Zhentarim and Radiant Heart militias. Their fortresses lay tattered and reeling from the blow, and the undead army that accompanied them appears to be virtually wiped out. With these victories, the last lingering influence of Orcus upon these lands dissipates. Tales soon spread throughout the north of the great victories achieved this day. While the High Moors is still regarded as dangerous, and likely will always be, the yuan-ti have slithered back into their holes.... For now.

With the forces in the High Moor defeated, the Radiant Heart dismantle their small compound by the Boarskyre Bridge, returning to their homes in Baldur's Gate. The forces of the Blackrose and the Zhents remain stationed at Bridgefort for now, and continue to secure the area, making sure no stragglers are left behind.

With the fall of the Brood mothers and the defeat of the Yaunti army a sigh of relief could be had among the many soldiers that had been dug in to Boareskyre for the last four months. The war was now over and the time for rebuilding and reforms had begun.

The Mercenary company known as the Mithril Springs and the Blackrose Heavy Cavalry contingent would depart Boareskyre and return to Thundars ride to resume their patrols on the Trade ways.

It is rumored that a shipment of stone was sent for to repair Boarskyre bridge and the damages done to it from as far back at the Devil War years prior.

The Blackrose presence in Boareskyre would prove to be consistent with the fortifications that were erected during the Yaunti war still standing tall as more fortifications would be built or reinforced within the coming months.

A druidess approached, quietly requesting one beam from the palisades be given to be broken apart and buried in honour of the Oakfather, but none other taken; she encouraged and requested instead the rest be (if they were to be torn down) taken away and repurposed to the building of homes or sundered to firewood that would otherwise have come from more trees hacked down. Then came the sowing of seeds into the crumbled banks, encouraging plants to grow, and the slow process of bringing the ruined riverbanks back to life.

The Rangers of the Order would adhere to the words of the Druidess burying one of the beams deep within the earth. The druidess would be assured that if the fortifications were to be abandon that the palisades would be repurposed as so nothing would go to waste.
"We are not ones to idly leave assets laying around unattended, we will find a use for them as is our way." A comment would be issued forth from one of the officers

A caravan of stone would arrive at Boareskyre bridge and shortly there after laborers would begin repairs on the bridge though it would be sometime before the repairs would be completed.

Rumors spread of sightings of strange beings who seem to blend into one form or another, at will, or, at random. These beings, at one moment a Human or a Halfling or a Dwarf...soon turn into beasts of various forms and demeanors—a pixie, an owlbear, even a werewolf—yet, these beings are not possessed by these forms, they ARE these forms, as long as they seem to will it.

The more learned who hear these rumors, suspect that there has risen, in population, that being or calling or even profession that is known as the Shifter.

Those with lesser will power may cower in a general fear of such a rising. What shall such beings bring to the Sword Coast, for, if they are no longer simply what they were born naturally as, what truly are these ever-shaping-shifters? Do their thoughts and ethics shift along with their outward form? The common man and woman, along with the greater adventurer type, continue to carry on the rumor, adding to it as more and more sighting and interactions of this new Being are experienced.

Some say, though this rumor gets the lesser of traction among the talkative, that these so-called Shifters are aligned to each other, and that many have formed or wish to form a parliament or faction, as it could be called. Usually, as it with most rumors, aspects are just as easily dismissed as they are taken as "truth."

A redheaded girl in mismatched, ill-fitting equipment sneaks alone into the ruined temple near Winding Water.

As far as anyone can tell, she does not emerge from it.

Some time later, the redhead emerges from the woods, stumbling from tree to tree with multiple crudely bandaged slashing wounds across her body. Whatever ordeal she has endured, she does not say... nor does she say much of anything before succumbing to her fatigue and being taken to the inn.

As the girl's strength slowly returns, word starts to spread through the village that she was rescued from the fiendbloods by a Lolthite necromancer, who sent her back to announce... she was going to kill everyone?

Tarina meets with a werewolf in Soubar, discussing matters regarding the bombing of the Malar ceremony and actions taken against the culprit. After some time, the two leave and travel to a camp near the Forest of Wyrms to discuss further plans.
