Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Sari'mil can be seen walking in Baldur's Gate, as well as in Beregost, quietly conversing with the townsfolk about the rumors of the dragon threat. She makes no attempt at hiding the truth but urges everyone to conduct business as usual as there is no proof the dragon is actually coming. Those who look closely enough can see the fear lurking underneath her brave facade. When asked about it, she offers a kind smile and mentions her dislike of being inside of a city.

Rumour has it that Tomar Goodmannen has left the sword coast area to partake in a pilgramage to Turmish.

A rather huge dwarf has been seen at the friendly arms inn, getting drunk. Into his drunken state, he could be heard muttering things about aliens, freaking orbs, damned gods, turning into women, and that dwarves are too short for what he truely is.

He also wore a hat onto his head over a black bandana, clearly trying to hide the fact that he is bald.

Rumor has it that Aethor Siger has been seen asking friends around Baldur's Gate, and it's outskirts, about any possible leads on the location of his wife. His brow creases with worry as the hours go by.

Word on the street of Baldur's Gate is that a rather severe looking Jonas Rokranon has demanded that Charraj report to the paladin whenever he decides to turn up again.

A pretty young woman known as Doriah Rokranon is seen walking in Baldurs that day, wearing clothes which Charraj usually wears. She's been seen entering Maltz, then heading to the Rokranon's house, a smile always decorating her lips.

Her hair seemed wet, and she had no shoes.

A necromancer was about to be hanged, when an undead horde attacked the spectators in a rescue attempt. Esarosa killed the necromancer before he could escape. He was then beheaded and incinerated.

Rumors spread throughout the Gate as news travels north from the Friendly Arm Inn about the tremendous explosion and fires witnessed in the Cloakwood, most likely at the mine. Apparently there was an incident with goblins and explosives of some sort, though the guards at the FAI were heard to mutter various comments including the word "Adventurers." At this time, the truth of the matter is unknown, but looking at the fires gouting out of the cave, there is probably no air inside to breathe.

Words spreads around that Aethor Siger has been gathering provisions for the past two days. He has a haggard look about him, yet there is a fiery determination in his eyes. So far, he has made no remarks or off comments regarding the intention of said provisions, save to a few close friends.

Rumor spreads that one of the missing women was found by a young paladin earlier this morning. The two embraced for a long time before heading back to the Gate. Several hours later, the same young paladin left the gate and headed down trade way, presumable towards Beregost.

A rather tall elf walks along the docks, seemingly with purpose. The observant would recognize that this isn't the first time he's been here as he strides with little patience toward an unkempt youth best described as somewhere between a teen hoodlum wannabe and a young adult vagrant.

Sharp words are exchanged, mostly one-sided with the elf's green eyes boring holes into the young human's. He slaps a neatly folded, sealed parchment into the youngster's grubby hands before spinning on his heel and heading back toward the better parts of Baldur's Gate.

Istari tower is apparently under some sort of lock-down. Members of the mage guild are seen coming to the tower but leaving quickly after not being able to get past certain wards (or perhaps golems) in place. None of the members seem to know why.

Rumors that a pair of bandits attacked a priestess of Lathander in Beregost and in the middle of the street during the day spread across the lands. They say the pair managed to elude the guards and are being looked for.

For those who are concerned about the priestess and inquire how she is doing at the temple are told she is alive and recovering from the wounds, though they wont say where to those not of the temple.
